The Doo Wop Diner on the boardwalk is a lunchtime spot with delicious burgers, fries, and chocolate milkshakes. The 50s doo-wop theme adds to the experience, with friendly and attentive service. This fun decorated restaurant with 50s artwork on the walls comes highly recommended for a delightful dining experience.
The staff and servers are friendly and very good. The food is excellent and reasonably priced for the quality and location. Customers praise the 1950s era theme and music, as well as the surprisingly good diner food, including breakfast items, burgers, hot dogs, and milkshakes. The crinkle-cut fries are a highlight, described as perfectly crispy and crunchy.
Customers highly recommend the fried pickle burger with added pepper jack cheese, the breakfast burger with egg, bacon, cheddar, hash brown and Sriracha, and the patty melt. The diner also offers a unique and very good fried pickle sticks, as well as bottomless soda. It is a must-stop on the yearly Wildwood vacation.
