“My wife and I are frequent customers and enjoy the coffee and tea that they serve up! My wife is a coffee drinker and LOVES their coffee. Yunnan black tea has a great taste too! Unlike most places that brew tea, theirs actually has great taste!I like tea and find most place do tea as a second thought thinking that giving any swill called TEA checks the box. If those places served coffee as bad as their tea they’d be out of business.Out There gets it ?%! Kudos and thank you.“
“A hidden gem!!!! Everything is made fresh and ingredients are basically farm to table from Beach Plum Farms. The bakery has some of the best pastries you’ll ever have. No joke. You have to try the pumpkin chocolate chip bread when it’s in season or literally ANY baked good. I have never been disappointed. The coffee is delicious, rich and they even have a La Colombe draft latte!! On top of that, the employees and bakers are heartwarmingly generous. Can’t say enough good things about this place. This is my absolute favorite café.Dietary restrictions: They often have gluten free muffins or brownies!Wheelchair accessibility: There are tables outside in the summer to easily pull a wheelchair up to.“
“Recently dined at Freda’s Cafe with friends ( 8 of us total), the place is small and quaint but we had plenty of room to move around. The decor made me feel like I was in someone’s dining room. We had reservations and were seated immediately, the staff was friendly and very efficient, the food was delicious, every one of us enjoyed our meal and some had doggy bags to enjoy later. I have been to Cape May many times and have walked right by this place ( because it’s right by Washington Mall) and I must have missed it but believe me, I will not miss it again. I plan to return with my family very soon!“
“Really cool old hotel. Lots going on. Restaurant on site is ok. Service was great. There’s also a blues bar on site which is pretty cool. There is a nice sitting area in the lobby. You can grab a drink at the outside bar, or from the restaurant and hang out in the lobby. It’s like being on a movie set because everything is so of a period in time. Location is excellent as it’s right in town adjacent to the Washington Street Mall. The rooms are old of course but they are nicely appointed with Wi-Fi etc. Beds are super comfortable. I would stay there again.“
“Friendly service. No inside seating by the crepe station, but there are outside tables. Crepe was ready quickly and was brought out to us at the outside table. Asked for light chocolate drizzle/ sugar and they followed the request. Great place for a quick stop on Beach Avenue.“
“I ordered an egg & cheese sandwich on an egg bagel. I also ordered a strawberry banana smoothie. Both were to die for! The smoothie was simple with no unnecessary ingredients which is just how I make them at home. The sandwich was very hearty and filling. There are many great options on the menu and they're all unique!!! Highly recommend trying it. There's something for everyone.“
“Ordered a bagel with cream cheese, coffee and got fresh OJ. The bagel was good and toasted perfectly. Generous serving of cream cheese, which I love. Coffee was fresh and hot. The OJ was amazing. Very nice, friendly staff. Nice, quick breakfast by the beach.“
“I have mixed feelings about Key West Café. If I had a different server I think it would’ve been a completely different experience.I came in the off season when things weren’t very chaotic and the restaurant wasn’t excessively busy. I came in solo, which admittedly, is certainly not a server’s dream. My server was slow to come to the table and when she did, she was curt. She took my drink and breakfast order and left. She was slow to bring my coffee and then when my French toast came, it was cold. It took several minutes for a server to come around so I could let them know. When my server was notified she had them make me a fresh plate, which was delicious.After I ate, she checked on me and brought me my bill. She was pleasant enough but it was clear she wanted me out of there. I put cash down and waited almost 10 minutes for another server to give me change while my server talked to some locals on the other side of the room.Overall I saw other customers that were content and servers that were attentive and friendly. The food was good, affordable, and the kitchen fixed their mistake quickly and without any issues. I do recommend coming to Key West Cafe, but I hope that management has a conversation with this server about upping her game.Parking: Lots of street parking and it’s free in the off season“
“The motto is fresh food fast. This gleaming luncheonette means it too. This is the fourth time I have been there and it is fantastic each time. Homemade everything from coleslaw to the catch from local waters. Drum fish from Delaware Bay will arrive soon. I had blackened prime rib sandwich. Thinly sliced, lightly charred and juicy. Very reasonable prices and friendly fast service. They have counter service, tables and picnic tables outside.“
“Visited this place this afternoon walking on the boardwalk for fun and stopped in when I saw some fun crane games! Being someone who never wins I was hopeful and actually got something! 1 dollar a play and great prizes! The owner was super nice and helpful and showed me to some other games he had that were equally as cool! This is a place I cant wait to come back to in the summer and play at!! “Golden stop has become my home away from home. I love it all, from the cozy atmosphere to the friendly environment to the delicious food. My favorite is the breakfast sammy. I am so thankful for all of their gluten free options. When I’m needing a pick me up, I love searching through the fridge of freshly pressed organic juices.
