We’ve been waiting a long time to try this “hidden gem” although it’s not so hidden anymore as Philly Inky’s Craig Laban named it one of 20 places for seafood down the Jersey Shore this month. My wife had the famous scallops and thought they were delicious, reminded her of classic, fresh taste of the shore scallops from youth. My burger was good. Fries were tasty. Drinks were proper. Service was attentive. The scallops alone are reason to return.
My husband found this place through a tiktok blogger and wow am I glad we decided to try it. The seafood was so fresh. Everything was delicious but the highlights were definitely the fried scallops (I live 3 hours from this place and would drive there and back just for those things) and the burger (quite possibly the best burger I've ever had). Will definitely be back next time we are near Cape may!
Staff was kind and attentive. My waitress (Molly, I believe) seemed to have a genuine smile for everyone and that sort of good attitude is catching. Food came out at a reasonable pace despite her apologizing for the wait on my burger and it was tasty. I especially liked the pickled onions, which Molly told me were house made. I also appreciate the casual, low pressure atmosphere. Thank you!
