“Excellent service, superb food and an overall amazing experience at the Lewes Oyster House! Executive Chef, Sean Corea, knocks it out of the park! Fantastic cocktails too! If you’re looking for a special evening, or just a night out in downtown Lewes, Lewes Oyster House is the place to go - they don’t disappoint!“
“Lisa, our waitress, provided great details on the food options we inquired about. She was kind and patient! We ordered oysters for appetizer, the Hake and Swordfish for our entrees and then shared a slice of coconut custard pie. Everything was cooked just right and tasted excellent! The Hake was slightly crispy on the outside with a hint of butter flavor. Perfection! The Pineapple Crush was refreshing with club soda instead of Sprite.Dietary restrictions: If you ask for the special menu, they will happily give it to you for gluten-free and vegan options.“
“I went in today for the first time to get 6 steamed whole crabs . They had me out the door in 15 mins and I did not even call ahead . Very friendly staff . Crabs were a fair price . They were perfectly cooked and delicious! Seasoning was perfect. I don’t have a bad thing to say . I will be back again and again“
“Jeff our server was awesome!!! He made sure that we always had crabs in front of us for the All You Can Eat Crab special. Even other employees that work here made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. I am definitely coming back here. They deserve more than 5 stars.“
“Great service - bright, comfortable setting - nice outdoor options too. Service is always very good - the food is great - plenty of choices for breakfast, coffee, specialty drinks & lunch - have returned many times & would recommend if in the Lewes area!“
“The food, service and atmosphere are so good that there is a line at the front door, with ten couples waiting for the door to open at 5:00 PM.Fish On is the perfect venue to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions or happy hour. Plenty of free parking. Delicious Chef Specials.Do NOT order the shrimp and grits. Try Virginia’s on King Street in Charleston, SC or Porter Jacks Grill in Manning, SC instead.“
“Vegetarian perspectiveOne of my favorites at the beach. Love all the outdoor seating, and great vegetarian options. I'm not a big fan of fake meats but they have a homemade black bean burger here! Lot of fun summer cocktails too. Plus live music that wasn't so loud you can't talk.“
“Great food! Seems weird to rave about potato salad, especially when I’m not a ‘potato salad’ guy, but this potato salad is great! As was the turkey burger with a maple aioli sauce and the brown sugar old fashioned. And another bonus, literally right next door to the Dogfish Inn!!“
“JD Shuckers impresses with its cozy ambiance, outstanding food, and top-notch service. Service here is attentive and warm, making you feel right at home. With a great selection of drinks and a friendly vibe, JD Shuckers stands out as a gem for both casual outings and special occasions. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!“
“We had a great family night. The food was delicious, and the service was fast and friendly. We tried hot wings, crab egg rolls, deviled eggs, dynamite shrimp, brussels, nachos, AUCE Dungeness crabs, salmon cheese steak, garlic dungeon crabs, and seafood pasta. Eggs, nachos, and crabs were the favorites.“
“My family and I came here this weekend for lunch and it was a phenomenal experience! The servers and bartenders were so accommodating to anything we needed. The manager even checked in on how our meal was and we only had great things to say! The crabby melt with waffle fries was phenomenal. We will be back!“
“My daughter took me out for dinner to celebrate my 62nd birthday here at Harbor at Canal Square. We went all out, soup to nuts so to speak, and it was a wonderful dining experience all around. Our waiter who Identified himself as Tom or Tommy was easily one of the best, intuitive and attentive servers I have ever had, and that's saying a lot. The Calimari was as good as we'd ever had, crispy and not too chewey, with just the right seasoning. The mussels were served piping hot with a delicious sweet curry style sauce that made me clean the plate with a spoon and a fresh whole Branzino fish which Tom recommended and explained that it was a Meditarainian sea bass. ? My daughter had the duck breast, whuch was so good she insisted that I tate it, and for dessert we shared the Cherry Tart served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream from Hopkins, a local dairy farm. Tom explained that the desserts were all made in house by one of the owners. We both had tasty mocktails, and I finished up with a glass of tawny port. Although the place was busy, we never felt rushed and the whole vibe was reminiscent of a day's gone by fine dining experience, with a water view, and a more relaxed feeling. I'm not going to say that this was the best dinner I've ever had, but I'd be hard pressed to recall a much better one. When you're anywhere near the Delaware beaches, this place is a must try. ?Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp is available.“
