“Happy Jacks is absolutely the best breakfast restaurant anywhere and they have the most amazing staff and food. We never go anywhere else and it's even better now that we live here. My son, Woody has Down Syndrome, and as parents you always worry how he will be treated, well I can tell you from the very first time we walked into Happy Jacks he was treated with respect and true affection. He now knows all the staff, for his birthday then brought him his pancakes with a candle and they sang to him. And one of the waitresses is his Bff and they spend time together outside of her work. It truly is a family affair.“

“My family and I frequent Bethany Beach each summer and Bethany Blues has become one of our absolute favorites. We typically order carry out but this most recent trip we decided to dine in and I wanted to write this specifically in regards to that experience. Everything was delicious, they were super busy but we still got our food quickly and correctly which is always a plus. The manager for the evening came around when our waiter informed him that someone in our party had a gluten intolerance. The manager came over and was so friendly, and knowledgeable about every item on the menu and exactly which items and sauces contained gluten and which did not. For someone to take this extra time and attention for something that at other restaurants is commonly overlooked meant so much to us, we wanted to be sure to recognize and give credit where credit was due. Thank you and we will absolutely be back on our next trip down! ☺️“

“We went to the NorthEast Seafood Kitchen for a birthday dinner. Even though they were full, they worked us into a table to accommodate our crew- including two toddlers and a two-month old. We really appreciate getting seated so quickly, especially with the kids in tow. “Rise Up is an antidote to the corporate BS that plagues Ocean City. The location is a pain to get to, especially if you're going east on 50, and the parking lot is not at all sufficient for the high volume of peak hours. The coffee is good - miles better than Starbucks - the staff is friendly, and they will grind their coffee for you free of charge, which is nice. That said, as Rise Up has grown over the years, it's lost some of its charm and local vibe. It also gets so mobbed on weekends and late mornings (9-11) that I'd rather not drink coffee than wait up to 30 min for a drink. But if it's a Tuesday afternoon and I'm headed back from Assateague and in need of a coffee, I'll stop every time.“

We come down at minimum for every Cruisin car show in spring and fall, and used to often visit 1-2 separate other times through out the summer season. Several of the waitresses always remember us, as did our waitress this past weekend. They are hands down my favorite breakfast place in the area. Never had a bad meal here, and anyone I’ve ever brought has always wanted to go back again during our trip.“

“Loved since we moved to PA in 2002, near the Stewartstown area, back when it was Summer’s. Young people, high school & college age, work there. They are very nice. When I order my milkshake extra thick, they listen. Soooo, yummy. Our kids, grandkids, my mom, and dog love it. Bubby always orders the Puppy Cup, even though he’s 12 now. Rita’s and Baskin Robbin’s are good, but nothing beats Bonkey’s.“

My husband is a self-proclaimed veal snob and he said the veal Marsala was absolutely the best he’s had (and he’s had a lot fro over!) I had the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. The pasta was clearly made fresh and cooked perfectly. The bolognese was so flavorful but not heavy. Portions are refreshingly sized appropriately and so completely satisfying. Generally we’re not dessert eaters, mostly due to being overfilled by oversized portions. Ordering dessert from Ristorante Antipasti was a forgone conclusion. I don’t know which was better, the Chocolate Lover’s cake or the Vanilla Butter Cake. Been coming to Ocean City for years and this was our first visit to this restaurant and now tops the list of favorites. Loved everything about it, atmosphere was relaxed but elegant, met the owner who was delightful and appreciative. Highly recommend!!“

Happy hour at the Shark is our favorite place to go while visiting the Ocean. This was night number 3 for us this trip and as always the food was delicious maybe better than in years past. Always fresh served hot and always with a warn friendly smile. It’s always good to go the a place that’s has a feel like “Cheer’s “ atmosphere. Where they greet you like family and make sure you leave happy and looking forward to your next visit. So visit the Shark the best food in all of Ocean City.“

“This place is a hidden gem, a little hard to find, but once we were here we enjoyed sitting outside on the sandbar, live music, and a beautiful view of the bay. The service and food was amazing.
