“Loved since we moved to PA in 2002, near the Stewartstown area, back when it was Summer’s. Young people, high school & college age, work there. They are very nice. When I order my milkshake extra thick, they listen. Soooo, yummy. Our kids, grandkids, my mom, and dog love it. Bubby always orders the Puppy Cup, even though he’s 12 now. Rita’s and Baskin Robbin’s are good, but nothing beats Bonkey’s.“

Parking: Park at the main entrance for board walk there's many of these through the boardwalk though
Kid-friendliness: Yes it's ice cream and it's on the boardwalk

“This location does not exist, we could not find the one on Rochester St. There are two dippin dots on the boardwalk, we went to the one between 2nd and 3rd Street and it was great. We have a food allergy so the 4 non dairy ice flavors really helped. They also have regular hard ice cream at a reasonable price, only a dollar extra for a big waffle cone! I wish they had had seating but the location farther up the boards did have seating.“

“Stopped in for breakfast on the boardwalk and is was amazing! The breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious — hot, tasty, and made with quality ingredients. You could really taste how fresh everything was, and it hit the spot perfectly for a morning by the ocean. Friendly service and a great location right on the boardwalk made the experience even better. Highly recommend starting your day here!“

“This place is great. I've been to 2 locations in OC, this one and the boardwalk. Both ladies were very nice and offered free samples. The cookie dough is awesome, but you do need the ice cream with it. I tried their brownie cookie dough with chocolate ice cream, loved it. Then I decided to try more basic and did the chocolate chip cookie dough with vanilla ice cream. Also loved it. Way better than any chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream I've ever had. This is going to be my go-to place for dessert in Ocean City from now on.“

Our kids weren’t too fond of the sonic and powerpuff girl ice creams, so next time we’re ordering a kids bowl for them. That would be my recommendation.“

Ice Cream Shop • $$
“Stopped in on a nice Wednesday morning around 11 or so and instantly was greeted with a refreshing and cool atmosphere. After we decided on flavors from the many options, the lady behind the counter got to work grabbing our dots and mixing our shake. The dots were so cold they practically stuck to my tongue! (refreshingly) And the peanut butter milkshake had loads of peanut butter in it. Very good stuff, I'll be back for a slushie!“

“We came on Saturday night(6/4/22) and it was very busy, but the girls working were amazing!! They were so fast and efficient and kept the line moving. I was so impressed with these two ladies and as always the ice cream was great!!!“
