This spot is the truth. We order ox tails with double veggies, jerk wings, veggie pie. The flavor was authentic and on point. Highly recommend.

Hidden gem here in Ocean City. The jerk chicken and oxtail are our absolute favorites. If you haven't been, you need to go.

We were visiting oc and was very excited to try authentic jamaican food especially since it had great overall reviews. Since moving to DE from philly, we haven't had decent jamaican cuisine. We ordered the jamaican pasta and goat curry.
- jamaican pasta: the pasta and sauce was good- only decent thing we ate. The chicken had no business being so dry- very overcooked.
- goat curry: the goat curry had a lot of bones and no meat. The curry wasn't bad. The rice and peas and cabbage were awful- worst rice and peas I have ever had.
- rum punch: very strong. Not very sweet. Husband said it was good for the price though.
The customer service was not great. When we walked in, we were the only two. The waitress had us come up to order and did not offer any water for sit in service. When a larger party of 5 people came in, she went over to take their order and offered water? Food took 45 minutes to cook without letting us know it would take that long. We ended up changing out minds and getting the food to go.

My mother and I went to this place and the service was ok the lady was nice but she talk so fast and soft spoken we had to ask her to repeat herself. They didn't have wings and she had 1 beef patty left. We are from Pittsburgh we have good Jamaican spots. But this one I was disappointed. Not only the food was not season the sauce taste water down. The salmon was ok but it had no seasoning. My rice was so dry it taste like it was reheated and the beans where kind of hard. My mom rice taste the same thing. Her oxtail taste how my salmon did. Everyone experience is different. You can try it if you like but if you like Jamaican food and have Jamaican spot in your city that good you might feel the same way they need to do better.

Went to try traditional Jamaicans cuisine. My daughter liked curry chicken but not rice and beens which were mushy devoided of taste. I got escovichian snapper. Or well it was just deep fried fish, very dry. We shared chicken wings which were ok . I had a mixed drink to complement the food . Basically food is eatable but not outstanding. Or may be it’s just not for me . I do like spicy food including Mexican, Thai etc but I crave for more sofisticación .

While in Ocean City, we happened upon Ocho Rios Jamaican Restaurant. My wife being part Jamaican, we make it a habit to try Jamaican food wherever we are. The atmosphere was very nice, typical of a Jamaican restaurant. The good choices were also typical of other Jamaican restaurants. I ordered the lunch special of Jerk Chicken. Now, other Jamaican restaurants normally offer Jerk Chicken, rice & peas, cabbage and plantains. Their lunch special was only Jerk Chicken and rice & peas. My wife ordered snapper that came with cabbage and rice& peas. The jerk chicken was very good, but 80% of my meal was rice and peas. My wife said her snapper was good but could have been cooked a little longer. My son is a food snob and only wanted fried chicken. The waitress was able to get him just fried chicken so we were thankful.
What we didn't like was the food took almost an hour!! We didn't know why or were told why it took so long. Finally, for a "lunch special" my wife's snapper meal and my son's fried chicken we paid over $85.00. I was shocked and couldn't understand what we ate.....the Sorrell was good, but the house made rum punch was average and you don't get a lot for the cost.
If you want the experience of eating in a Jamaican restaurant, then give it a try. But if you have tried Jamaican restaurants and know what to expect, you can try this restaurant but I'd be cautions of the price.

Company vehicle followed my wife to a store making very inappropriate and suggestive comments when she got out, she got back into the car and left feeling very unsafe. Beware of those you support.

Major Rave!!! The staff was friendly. The food took a little longer but came out insanely fresh and hot.
The Marley Pasta was to die for. Huge portion and lots of shrimp.
The jerk chicken was absolutely delish. Smokey and perfectly jerk. We also got dumpling to try, very good.
