PGN Crab House offers steamed crabs by the dozen at good pricing, although some crabs may be funky. The all-you-can-eat crab option for dine-in customers is a hit. The servers are attentive, with fall-off-the-bone ribs and perfectly sauced sea scallop platters being highlights. Known for their crab cakes, the restaurant may lack atmosphere but makes up for it with reasonable prices. Despite some inconsistencies in the lump crab cakes, PGN Crab House remains a go-to spot in OC for seafood lovers.
The fried crab cake sandwich and soft shell crab sandwich are delicious, along with shrimp, Cole slaw, and homemade rice pudding. Crab legs and large steamed crabs are heavy and so good, with great service that never disappoints. The food, service, and dining experience are exceptional, making it a place to return to again and again.
