The best crab cake I have ever had! Loved the half price shrimp meals and half price drinks during happy hour (3-5). Will be back!!
Service was wonderful but place is gross! Tons of flies. Stagnant water that smells. Crab balls were all filling and crab dip and sweet potato fries were blah. Even the glass of water tastes awful and the cup smelled.
got it today for supper! ordered the snow crab boil, clams, mussels, shrimp, and clams casino. definitely recommend! it was hot when we arrived and was delicious when we ate! 5 stars.
I was there with my wife a while back so our two friends came to OCMD, we thought may as well bring them back because they wanted crabs . Our experience was horrible … we came with our friends and their 10 month old and our 10 month old … the waitress was rude from the start, my wife asked her for a water for me which she forgot , she was very snippy when we would ask for things or just interacting with her . My wife wanted crabs and clams so she asked if she could switch up the mussels and shrimp for clams in the snow crab boil and just do that and clams , her response was no , not even that she would check . Then my wife wanted just crab legs but she said she couldn’t do that either , then proceeds to come back and tell us she could .. but didn’t ask my wife what sides she wanted so we didn’t know it came with sides . When it came out it had mash and green beans which she doesn’t eat and when asked if she could have swapped it , Sandra our servers response was no that’s just what it comes with you cannot . Well we asked another server and she got us some corn , gladly . I was disappointed because I heard the other servers asking their tables if they had ever been there before but we got none of that with our service . My wife also ended up getting the clams app and it came with bread , which came out completely burnt and the servers response was “you should have seen the other one they were gonna send , that was worse than this one” to me that is not customer service , no plates were pre bussed , it was just as if we were an inconvenience . Just very disappointed and we made sure to tell the host on the way out as well.
Thank You All sooo much for the most welcoming welcome we've experienced since arriving in Maryland...You put smiles on the faces of this tired, hungry crew of event workers (come see us at the Lockers). Our server was Amazing- we went from strangers to friends in an instant...and Miss Louise made us feel like we were visiting family..rarely does the food match the level of service, but here it did...the hushpuppies took me straight home to Carolina, the seafood was fresh with the just the right amount of seasonings ( we put Old Bay on our Old Bay 😀)..if you've never been here, run- don't walk- as fast as you can, this place is a National Treasure!

This was a great place to eat. Stony was a great server who made sure we were cared for. We actually did eat in the first night and carry out the second. The crabs were so good. The shrimp were amazing, and the wings…the wings were delicious. This will definitely be a stop the next time we visit the OC!

Best place I've been to when camped at Assatique island.
This restaurant is super friendly to dogs, even gave the dogs water, I came in with my 3 boxers and dad, enjoyed the delicious food and atmosphere... Definitely best place to visit
