we go to hoopers every single year and get the all you can eat deal. This year was by far terrible compared to every other year and I think made its way off of our yearly go to and going back down a 2nd time and not going back. The crabs had zero seasoning and were light and runny, the shrimp were overcooked and hard to peel, and the service wasnt the best but not terrible. for the price you paid and recent years experience we were highly disappointed!
We come to Hoopers every year for bike week and summer vacation and we’re never disappointed. Love the food, the view and the people.
Just visited this week. It has a nice atmosphere on the bayside waterfront. The crabcakes were a 7/10. However, this is where the compliments end. The service was terrible. Ask for extra butter for your crab legs and it never comes. Had to wait a good 5-10 minutes after meal was served to get crackers for the people who needed them to get at their crab legs.
