I was a guest in my family at the hotel. My children just turned 21 twins no Ideas have been 21 for the last six months they were denied I have a service animal. I thought it was maybe because I brought my dog. My dog was well-behaved on my lap and they had a little attitude. and they also mentioned that a lot of kids in Maryland lie and they and they just walk out because they even though it was vertical and we are from New Jersey, she said oh a lot of kids from Maryland fake it and change the IDs and me as a mother. I spoke up and said we are with our children. We are the parents. I thought that was very unfair accusing defamation of a character to treat my children like that and plus I always come there, but I will tell other people how we were treated and I don’t think I’ll come back to eat. it’s like almost falling my children liars, and then again in front of the parents and then I spoke up and said how dare you call my kids a liar and she said oh other people would just get up and walk out and I said excuse me like she was almost wanting us to walk out

I don't normally write reviews but felt I needed to give some credit to Touch of Italy in OC. My husband, mother-in-law, and I have been frequent visitors over the years and it has been absolutely fabulous every time. Great food, great service, reasonably priced for OC. I particularly like the chicken parm and there is always enough to take home for another meal. The little store/deli is awesome and we like to get desserts to take away for later too. It's always a pleasure chatting with manager John, such a great guy who has always taken care of us like family. We missed him while he was away and are so glad to see him back! Touch of Italy is a great place, you should definitely check it out and ask for John, you will get the best service ever.

It's true about the portion size of the chicken Parm( huge)🤙, but very delicious. We were able to sit at the bar at a tall table with no reservation. Our server Ginger was awesome as well as her co wkr Jackie.

Amazing place! Everything was reasonably priced and tasted amazing! Our waitress was so kind and came over to check on us alot of we needed anything. The atmosphere was so gorgeous and really have a professional feel. HIGHLY recommend for anyone looking for a quiet date night!

Traditional Italian food. Four of us all got different selections and we were pleased with all of them. Our server, Genesis, was attentive to all of our needs. A great place to eat!
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share this experience. My friends and I visited Touch of Italy intending to have dinner and drinks. Initially, we were greeted warmly, and our bartender was genuinely kind, attentive, and professional throughout our short visit. Unfortunately, the atmosphere created by other staff members quickly changed the tone of the evening. While sitting at the bar having a drink, we repeatedly noticed hosts and servers staring at us, whispering amongst themselves, pointing in our direction, and laughing while looking at our group. The behavior became increasingly uncomfortable and difficult to ignore. The two friends I was with are African American, and based on the treatment we received compared to others around us, it genuinely felt as though race may have played a role in how we were perceived and treated. What is most disappointing is that we had fully planned on staying for dinner, but instead chose to finish our one drink and leave quietly to avoid creating an issue or escalating the situation. No guest should feel unwelcome, singled out, or made to feel out of place while simply trying to enjoy an evening out.
I do want to acknowledge that our bartender was very pleasant and did nothing wrong. However, the overall environment created by the rest of the staff made us uncomfortable enough to leave and spend our money elsewhere. I sincerely hope management takes concerns like this seriously and works toward ensuring every guest feels respected, welcomed, and treated equally.

I paid for half slice of raw pizza. Rest was sent back in the oven and still came out raw. Serve threw it away and charged me (although half but for half slide that I ate!!! Ridiculous !!!!) . I was still hungry :(
Salad was good and vibe was nice. Overall wont recommend it :(

Server Genesis was the best! She went back to kitchen multiple times to answer questions we asked. The place was very accommodating and food was superb. Drinks were also great. We have been here multiple times and will be back!

My fiancé and I came to Ocean City to celebrate me becoming an operating room nurse and were excited to start our trip with dinner at Touch of Italy. Unfortunately, it turned into a very upsetting experience.
I ordered a celebratory drink with my meal, and instead of handling the situation discreetly, the manager pulled our waitress aside and then aggressively approached me in front of others to say that Ocean City has a strict “no vertical ID” policy, even though I’m 22 and it was a VALID Virginia driver’s license. The interaction was incredibly embarrassing and made me feel singled out and targeted.
After that interaction, we noticed a clear difference in how we were treated compared to other customers. The manager continued checking on surrounding tables while completely avoiding us. I was so uncomfortable and upset that we didn’t even finish our meal.
To make matters worse, my fiancé who had a horizontal ID and is 25 was also not given the drink he ordered. What was especially frustrating is that my valid vertical ID was accepted at all the other establishments we visited in Ocean City, so we later realized we were also being misinformed.
We came in excited to celebrate a huge milestone in my life and left feeling humiliated. Sadly, this experience completely ruined what should have been a special first night of our trip.
