We went to DQ today (9/30/2023 @ about 4:30pm) . We finally caught them when they were open, the hrs now are so off. Anyway we had such a wonderful experience today that I had to share. The lady that took our order was just the sweetest & friendliest person I’ve ever encountered at any drive thru! The staff and food are fine. The hours are a joke. Thank God for Friendly's.
We used to go here all of time, but since reopening, they only do drive thru service and cut off the line early before 5pm, which is now their closing time.
It’s become very inconvenient, so we just hit up the Rita’s down the street or head over the bridge to the Chester, MD location and enjoy some nice scenery on the way.

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill is a popular ice cream and fast-food establishment, known for its classic peanut buster parfaits and milkshakes. While the coney dogs may not be as impressive as before, the staff strive to provide great service and friendly attitudes. Customers have generally positive experiences with the ice cream treats. They have reopened and are now open at regular advertised hours. Depending on when you visit, the cars can be ridiculously wrapped around the building for the drive thru or there could be no line at all. To sit inside, is like squeezing through a tightly packed office space. Outside is always an option. They are always busy and now they close early. You definitely are still served correctly at this location. However, be prepared to wait. The lobby is open, the hours are longer, the drive thru is moving, and the outdoor tables are full. The employees are very nice, but they need to do a better job of mixing the Blizzards.
