We went there to have a nice holiday lunch and I had a bad feeling when we walked in the door and saw that it looked dirty. We still decided to give it a chance. As we we were about to eat looked to the right and saw cockroaches on the walls. Needless to say we left without eating and notified management!

Not sure what other bad reviews are about. My service was excellent, so attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, ambiance comforting. Food came out fast. Loved that they provided sherbert at the end. Definitely would come again!

I've been eating here for years. It's been going downhill. My food tastes like rubber mud. It's been reheated up disgusting, and this is not the first time. It's very dirty insid with food trays laying around with shrimp, , very illegal and unhealthy. And then you're gonna put it in a microwave, Serve it. I will never eat here again.

Be sure to check your order before you leave. I ordered dinner size portions of my dishes and ended up paying for dinner size but got lunch size. The food was only okay, and nothing special. Service was poor. Called in my order and showed up at the time they told me. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes for more order. Then when I got the order home had to head out for more food since the portions were wrong.

The food at the Hunan L’Rose is pretty good, and the prices are great compared to what I normally see. Unfortunately the dining room hasn’t been updated since the 80s, and the staff is unfriendly. If you want good food at a better price it is the place for you, but don’t expect it to be delivered with a smile.

Used to come here all the time with our family from 2016-2018. This was our favorite Chinese food place. Tried going here twice since moving back this year and both trips were very disappointing due to the service. Second time was today and we waited for 25min then left because no one came to take our order and there were only 4 other tables sat. Not going back for a third try.

Delicious hot food and tea. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere feels like a nice upscale restaurant. Very relaxing and they gave us tiny little sherbet ice cream also. Really yummy ? booked marked the place to come back again

We started dining at Hunan Larose over 25 years ago. When the former owner ran it, it worked like a well-oiled machine. The service was wonderful. The waiters who brought water were prompt and courteous. The fish tank was always clean and beautiful. Now, they usually have one waiter dealing with the entire restaurant. Service is slow. The fish tank should be removed as it's gross and unappealing for a restaurant. The food is still decent, but it takes forever to get your order put in and for your food to come, and half the time, if you order a specialty drink, it takes forever to arrive. The carpet is nasty, and the interior needs to be updated. The Dr who visited recently gave the atmosphere 5 stars, which I find outrageous and laughable. We will not be returning any time soon. The tradition of going there has ended for my family and me.
