This has become our default place for a fresh sandwich. The prices are great, people/service friendly and efficient. The subs are generously made. Easily worth the trip. A bit oddly situated on a traffic circle/multi entryway...be careful.
I was talking with my wife about the various small stores and gas stations we both (OH & VA) had in our youth. She spoke of Duke & Duchess, I waxed on about Piggly Wiggly. That started this craving for the "dirty water hot dog", hand made sandwiches in plain white paper of that setting. I've never had a such an amazing ham sandwich before. It was thick, with a beautiful amount of meat and the perfect amount of mayo. These people know what they are making. They are a little slow making it but it was well worth it to me.
