Ordered couple platters and wings which were decent but cashier kept giving me the Gen Z stare. Made the ordering process super awkward. Next time just go straight to the kiosk to order.

Naz Halal has never disappointed me until today!

Wayyy too much hot sauce! Everyone doesn’t eat spicy food like you guys! Thankfully DoorDash gave me my money back. Unacceptable!! Shah is more accommodating and allows you to put sauces on the side! Check photos for the mess they delivered to me.

The food at this restaurant is very bad. Because every time I ordered food, they gave me stale food. I used to order food without getting halal food.

I went to the location off El Cajon blvd in San Diego based on a recommendation. Boy was that a mistake. Where do I start. Wanted the gyro meat and chicken over rice. Looked at the menu on line, said it was 11.99 I thought that’s not bad, got to the place and to my surprise it’s just a food hub, no restaurant. Ok whatever. I made my order the price was 13.99, soda was 2.00 for can I wanted one for later so order the meal and 2 sodas. Had a special notes section, I put, sauce on the side and no tomato’s. My phone buzzed order ready. Scan receipt and little door opens with my meal and one can of soda. Receipt very bold says 2 X Coke. These people get paid at least 20 bucks an hour, can they not read an order?? So I had to bang on the door, show one soda guy gets me second soda, he sees I have no utensils and gives me a fork. I take off, go to eat my lunch, sauce all over it, tomato’s and not a single Damm napkin. I mean wtf kind of place is this?? Not to mention the machine actually asked me for a tip when I was paying like for what to prepare my food that I’m paying you to prepare I mean wtf and no presence of anyone so who are we tipping. Good thing the only choice was 20%, 15% and 10% no custom option so I said no tip. Maybe they punished me for no tip. And the worst part, the food sucked hard. These people are from NY?? Yeah right, maybe they just moved to NY, but NY has the best food and this place sucks. I was really hoping to like it. What a joke.

They stay open really late,that’s just lovely in my book.

I do not like the fact that the workers/cooks talks, laugh and chew gum over the food. Also, the cashier takes orders and handle money and food with the same gloves on.

I’m extremely disappointed and concerned after my experience at this Naz’s Halal location. I paid with my card, and shortly after, unauthorized charges appeared on my account. The same thing happened to my friend, except they stole hundreds from him. After doing some digging, it seems like this isn’t a one-time issue — others have experienced similar fraud here.

This kind of behavior is unacceptable and possibly criminal. I’ve reported it to my bank and am taking further steps. I’m sharing this to warn others: do not use your card at this location until it’s fully investigated and resolved.

Food was ok, I paid 4 extra dollars for double chicken. (Bowl was still empty looking) the staff never said one word to me while ordering and had attitudes from the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out. Also instead of throwing sauce on the counter you could hand it to me like a normal person..

The first time I ate here it was fine. The second time the girl messed it up with small chicken portion and when I asked the guy at the front to add more chicken since I had paid for extra chicken, the girl added some chicken and buried it under lots of queso which was unasked for. Now everything was a gooey sticky mass and I will have to put lots of effort into finishing it. Probably my dog will have some.

I ate some of it inside but I had to take the rest out with me.
Why do you have queso in a middle eastern shop. You are supposed to have dry feta cheese.
And why be stingy with chicken portion when it has been paid for.
The first time there were 2 guys working in the kitchen so the portions were great. The second time it was all rice with little chicken.
Will not come back.
Edit: They stood behind their product and they made it up to me. This time it was great. Thanks.

Three employees standing and busy on their phone. I placed an order on the screen was never greeted or confirmed that my order is received. Its dead slow here. There is no excuse i can find for this terrible service.

Best service ever

we order from here a couple times a month. combo rice plate is amazing, good portions. ordering directly from their website gives you extra customization options that the food delivery service apps will not if you are able to pickup. love combining the white and green sauce, but we always get extra sauce with fries on top of the rice plate.

Food is always a 10/10! The employees are so personable and friendly , shoutout Luzver and Elmer. Try the philly cheesesteak and the “white sauce” so delicious. 100% coming back next time. (open late so perfect after a night out)
