Very crowded on a mid-October Saturday afternoon. After parking well down the street, I learned there was a wedding reception. The lot appeared large enough for normal days.

Firstn my extreme gratitude to sever Alexa who warned me the French fries are coated and not gluten-free. She also made sure the ice cream for my nut allergy granddaughter was as uncontaminated as possible.

My hideway burger (no bun) was very juicy and cooked to medium perfection. My wife had a crabby potato that had to weigh at least two pounds. I don't understand mixing crab meat and pork, but she enjoyed the mix. My daughter hardly made a dent in her four pieces of smoked fried chicken although she liked the flavor. I think she should have skipped the blueberry rib appetizer and eaten more of her meal. Grandkids and Mac and cheese. Enough said.

Parking: I'm just amazed at the crowd today. The lot is a good size but was filled, as was the street for a long way

Completely worth the hour-long round-trip drive for me! I think by definition this makes it at least a 2-Michelin Star =)

My husband and I had dinner at The Hideaway tonight, and the food was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the Texas Brisket Sandwich, while my husband had the Blue Burger. We finished with a decadent brownie dessert that was the perfect ending to the meal. This place truly is a hidden gem. That never fails. The customer service and food are consistently outstanding. Our waiter, Jason, was exceptionally pleasant and attentive, making sure we had a great experience. In a time where good customer service can be hard to find, the staff here is genuinely kind, helpful, and efficient. We’re so impressed—thank you for an amazing evening!

I ordered Fish & Chips and macaroni & cheese. Everything was excellent, including the cole slaw, I'm not a fan of cole slaw, but it was great. The reason for 4 stars and the only problem was the very small portions. I'm extremely critical of restaurants. I'll definitely be back and trying their brisket next

I have gone to this place a few times with friends. I always like the food and drinks, but sitting at the bar has not always been enjoyable. I want to more than I am a former server so I understand how busy things can get. Every time I either sat at the bar or sat at the bar tables.

My first experience I came with my friend around 6pm, at the end of happy hour and sat at a bar table. The bartender served those tables, and it was not that full. Maybe 5 people at the bar and 1 other bar table. The bartender’s energy was completely off…it was as if she didn’t want to serve us. My friend and I didn’t feel welcomed but we stuck it out and ate and caught up. After an hour, we left. I chalked it up to a Monday.

The next time I returned a few weeks later on a Monday with the same friend and someone else. This time we sat at the bar table directly in front of the bar. My friends were already there and I was late to join. Same bartender was working. She came and took my drink and food order after I had been there for about 15 minutes. She took my order at 6:15pm and she did not come back to check on us until I turned to her at 7:20 and said “we feel a bit neglected. We would like to order some more.” Mind you, she tended to both groups on our left wand right. Instead of coming around the bar to take our orders, she asked from behind the bar what did we want to order. Again, just more of a feeling that she did not want to serve us. I still gave her 18% gratuity, but did not believe she deserved anything near that.

My husband has gone on separate occasions and has felt the same way and no longer goes there. I think that I may do the same.

Smoked wings and brisket egg rolls are delicious though.
