Cava Mezze satisfies every time. It's a little hidden gem in my opinion. If you like the fast casual version, you will be in love with the sit down restaurant. It's tapas style but the portions are generous and full of flavor and unique. The drinks are amazing and strong and we definitely appreciate the non-alcohol alcoholic fun drinks. Major bonus is the brunch, the French toast is seriously the best I've ever had and I love love breakfast food.

My only complaint is that the lamb (mini burger) has a verrrrrry hot topping on it. It was wayyyyyy too hot...and was difficult to remove it if you wanted to take it off. Other than that everything was great!!

On two occasions the server split the check with my friends when I hadn't ordered anything other than a drink. I asked the server to split the tab so that I only pay for my drink, she had me pay for half of the order.

I came on a Sunday about 8:30. The server was really knowledgeable- I don’t recall his name but younger guy and his service was really good. I’d return for that. The food was pretty good. The environment was not diverse which would be a downside for returning. I stayed close to closing and didn’t feel like I was being rushed out.

Charles the bartender is great! Good conversation and precision cocktails! We usually go to the Rockville location but will return to Olney to sit at the bar!

Enjoyed our meal a lot. Got the broccolini, hush puppies, spanikopita and meat gyros, which was just enough for 2 of us. Everything was quite good.
We ate outside. The ambiance is very pleasant even though the outdoor space is in the parking lot. It gives a European vibe. The entrees were good, especially the seafood and vegetable dishes. The portions were somewhat small, which made the dishes a little pricey. The service was fast and attentive.

Cava Mezze is a neighborhood gem. The food is very good and the service always excellent. My only complaint is that the prices are a bit high for some items, especially the vegetarian options. The spanakopita, for example, is $14 for three small triangles. The restaurant is also very loud, and sound reverberates. We try not to go on Friday or Saturdays when it can be extremely busy and loud.
