Best crabs in Montgomery County with reasonable prices

My daughter and I have been going there for several months now, every weekend. 😋 the crabs do Not disappoint. They are meaty, have that salty sweet taste, nice size, I haven't gotten a bad one yet. The shrimp are BUSSIN BUSSIN 😋. THOSE GUYS REALLY KNOWS THEIR STUFF. This month the blue crabs are gone, but we're going to be right there every weekend as long a they're there. 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

Never had a bad batch-- I've ordered more half bushels at a time than I can count since the day the opened using a fold out table & laundry baskets and it's always steamed perfectly. Just be sure to let your batch breath for 10-15 minutes before tossing it in a cooler/sealed container, or you will end up being one of those people complaining it was overcooked by your own idiocy...

I grew up in Naptown and I remember being incredibly bummed moving here to Olney and being subjected to crabs maybe 2-3 times a year when we'd get a random truck at Safeway or Giant. This is quite literally the only spot in MoCo that matches quality to price that I'm used to seeing closer to the bay area of the state.

I see some of the other 'problem' reviews here and can only assume they overstate their issues or never bothered to reach out to them; these guys are straight shooters-- and I'm sure they'd make the problem right if there was one. I have had a bad crab or two when I get large batches of a half or full bushel, but that's life and if you ever catch & make em yourself in large quantities it'll happen to you despite your best efforts. Ever get a bad nut out of large bag that looked normal? Same concept, economies of scale will make a bad 1-off inevitable... couple that with the price here I would never feel like I got ripped off.

These guys are the real deal. Large crabs were HUGE and the spice blend they put on them is the best I've ever had. They will get whatever fresh seafood you want if you ask a couple days in advance. So happy I found this YEAR ROUND SEAFOOD SPOT !

We had a half bushel of large crabs and two pounds of steamed shrimp this weekend and couldn’t have been happier. From quality of food to service we got - I can only say thank you and we will be back!

I was happy with my purchase and for med we were all satisfied with the size and weight. We did have a few mushy ones but few and far between and that's why we usually go for a lot of smaller ones vs a doz XL/Jumbo. I'll be back for sure.

I really really wanted to love this place. The reviews were great so I decided to try them out. Biggest mistake ever! I was totally disappointed. The one star is for the good customer service of the nice young man at the counter. The crabs were horrible. They were cold and they were old. They smelled bad and they were probably left overs from yesterday. I stuck my hand in the bag before I left and discovered they were cold and for some reason I didn’t take them back to the counter. I wanted to patronize a local business but that was just throwing money away. I will never return. Out of 2 dozen crabs 10 crabs went in the trash. And the rest were only eaten because I spent 100 bucks. Black crabs are never a good sign.

The seafood is always fresh, and the service is always friendly! My go-to spot.
