Crab legs, HUGE and sweet. Delicious! I had steamed shrimp as well. Wasn’t expecting jumbo so I was pleasantly surprised. Thoroughly enjoyed everything at a reasonable price. Definitely returning. Oh! And they were so nice.

There's nothing quite like savoring the taste of perfectly seasoned crabs, and Johnny and Mary's in Olney, MD, have it down to an art. Not only are their crabs delicious with big, juicy meat, but they're also run by two of the most generous souls I've ever met. Their support for Oakdale church through fundraisers and ministry picnics is truly commendable. After sharing some of their crab delights with my family, we've all agreed: this is our go-to spot for seafood in the Maryland-DC area. A true gem! My kids were in from out of town and were excited to get crabs. I called the night before to reserve a half a bushel of extra large crabs, which he said he had, and I would pick them up at 5pm. I arrived at exactly 5:00, and no one was there. I sent a text to let him know I was there and 15 minutes later he arrived. I gave him my name and asked if my extra large crabs were ready and he invited me to the back to see what he had. He opened the lid and showed me the crabs. I said that they went not extra large, medium at best, and at that point he got very nasty and rude, and was extremely unprofessional. He should have said that he was out of extra large and that was all that he had left. Instead, he told me that he wasn’t going to do business with me and I should leave. I had a house full of people waiting for crabs and I did not want to disappoint my family. I took what he had but will NEVER go back. I wished I had read the other reviews. Seems like this is a common occurrence.

Johnny and Kevin will take care of you here. Cheaper than others in the area (e.g. Floyd’s, Salernos) with good quality. Tip the boil boys and watch out for sweet little old ladies parking at the antique shop and you won’t go wrong. My go to crab place now and in the future!

We've been a few times now and would say it can be somewhat hit or miss, but that's just the nature of the beast sometimes. As with many places, it's probably not worth asking for jumbo since they probably won't have enough jumbos to fill the order but if you ask for larges, you'll probably get what you asked for. In the past, they've been fair and honest about the size of their crabs and I've ordered a dozen larges and gotten 15 or 16 crabs with a few mediums in the mix. Today was our most recent visit. We ordered a dozen spiced crabs and were very pleased. A bunch were heavy and a few were light. That's just the name of the game. It's a bit pricy but crabs are pricy everywhere and the convenience can't be matched. This is a good, solid crab joint and very friendly to boot. Looking forward to this being our go-to place for years to come.

First time going to curbside I order hot crabs and boy I tell you! the best damn crabs, in the world!!! female and males! no complaints ? I wanted more I needed more so clean and delicious ? the second time I went back they had a deal on cold crab the males were so delicious!!! the female were to salty and empty but that won't stop me from going back if you're a real crab eater you know sometime all won't be good.
