Worst ever! Server never brought us silverware, another person brought out food and we couldn't eat it without silverware.. when the server finally came back and we asked him for some... He said he would be right back... Then he stopped at another table to take their order while we sat there with cold food... I finally got up and asked another server for silverware and she gave me 1.( we needed 2) then she grabbed one from the front and dropped it on the floor.. I really hope she didn't give me the one that was on the floor but I have a feeling that's the one I got... She slammed it down on the table and just said here! My friends bacon was under cooked and when our server finally cane to check on us, he took it to go fix it, and never came back... Then we finally asked for our check and he never brought it... So we left... We will never be back to this location! It was the absolute worst service, the food was mediocre at best... I do not recommend this place at all!

I've come to this ihop multiple times since it opened in Olney and each time there has been an issue. We were seated at a table with syrup and crumbs on the table. The hostess wiped the crumbs with her hand before seating us. Three silverware wraps had forks or knives with food on them. The glasses did not look properly cleaned. The syrup caddy was sticky and the menus felt greasy and sticky. We asked for to-go syrup to eat with our meal. The food tasted good, but it was hard to get over all of the unsanitary surroundings leading up to the meal. We came on a weekday for breakfast around 11:30am this time and the wait time for a table and food was not too bad but when we asked for the syrup packets with our food the person who dropped off the food seemed frustrated with us. Bottom line, as a server at another restaurant, I've seen mistakes happen with service during a rush, but these issues were sanitary concerns that should always be a top priority. I would not want my family or friends to eat here, which is sad, because ihop is normally a great space for a weekend breakfast.

I am not sure why there are so many low ratings. I have been to this IHOP location many many times and have always found the service to be wonderful. We have only been for breakfast but we're thinking about maybe stopping by to see how their dinner is. Their breakfasts are very good and I have never found anything to quibble with. This is basically a good diner for breakfast. Ignore all those negative reviews and try it for breakfast!

This IHOP appears to be managed and serviced by young adults some of whom have discriminating practices toward some of the customers. This behavior has been witnessed on more than one occasion. Also, the pancakes are not consistently prepared, and have been overcooked whereby they split open, and on my last visit, there were black particles on the surface of the pancakes which possibly was an oven range that needed to be clean or some other practice that seemed to target me. Some of my acquaintances have stated that they do not go to this IHOP. I have been going to IHOP for over 40 years. It is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants. This location is by far one of the worst.

Amazingly, there was no wait on the Sunday morning I ate there. Service was fantastic and food arrived quick and was delicious. Price is quite reasonable and ample parking is accessible. Highly recommend IHOP.

Sitting at the IHOP Olney now with my family. The worst service ever!!!! Server didn’t greet us (even though she passed by us numerous times and looked at us) and only came after we asked the hostess for our server - 15+ minutes. We asked for utensils numerous times before she brought it ( Coffee got cold while waiting for a spoon). Then to top it off, she was borderline rude( not pleasant) at all.I notice many negative reviews at this location regarding the same issue. Why not re train your servers? 15 minutes to wait for a server to just a greet is really bad. I really didn’t want to eat with the server’s attitude.
I'm at the Pancake House now. I waited at the front to be seated for 10 minutes. There are only 10 tables with customers and 7 waiters. I waited 15 minutes before a waiter asked if I anyone had helped me, took my order and I waited 20 minutes for my food. My food was cold, especially the pancakes, like ice. The waiter microwaved them. So, poor service and poor food ?. I come here bi-weekly. This was the worst!! Will not be returning. Let's see how long I'll wait for the check. It's 1pm, done my meal...it's 1:15 pm, still waiting for the check. Got the check 1:37 pm.

This is the worst IHOP I've been to. Came in with my family for a family gathering sat down and waited 15 minutes for our server to come and greet us. Then she finally came after I went and asked the host if we had a server assigned. After she came took our order and never brought our drinks. 10 minutes later the server is walking nonchalantly around the restaurant and we still didn't have our drinks. At the end we left and I will never come back to this restaurant. They need to train their servers on costumer service more. The host and the server were rude. The rest of the servers saw us looking around for our server and did nothing.

IHOP has definitely upped its game. All the food came out quickly and seemed to be prepared well. It was delicious, seasoned well and cooked like it should be. The interior is typical IHOP. Plenty of parking in the shopping center that is surrounding this location.
