This restaurant is literally dangerous for people who use a walker. They have loose rugs which the sliders on the walker can easily catch, and this is a huge fall risk. When we entered we were greeted with a breezy comment from them about how awful their rugs are They weren't kidding. Those rugs are everywhere, and my wife had problems with several of them. Yes, the food and service is fine, but it's not worth risking a trip to the emergency room after a fall, so we will never be back.

I just had my first to go order ,seams very expencive , it was a large with three topping the total was around $ 37.50 Now that wasnt the reason for this review . I order the pizza and show up 15 mins paid for it .waited another 10 mins ,then the cashier told me it would be another 30 mins. I should have just canceled, and go next door for chinese . I left and came back pick up the pizza ,it was ok not great and zero apology. So i hope this helps them to train there staff to be more aware the customer comes first .

This was the worst eggplant parmigiana I have ever eaten. The sauce tasted like thinned-out ketchup, the eggplant was overcooked, oversalted, undercheesed, and plopped on a bed of overcooked spaghetti. I don't usually write restaurant reviews, but I felt I had to warn others away from spending $17.00 on a mess like this. The garlic bread was good, the service was slow but adequate. But please fix the eggplant parmigiana.

I’ve visited Mamma Lucia in Olney several times and have generally had good experiences, but my recent visit was deeply disappointing.
From the start, communication with our server was a challenge. When I inquired about the draft beers, he initially started talking about sodas. After some confusion, he understood I wanted beer, but still brought me a bottled beer instead of a draft.
When it came time to order, the situation didn’t improve. The server seemed unfamiliar with the menu, and I had to physically point to my selection before he understood what I wanted.
The delays in service were particularly frustrating. Despite there being only one other customer in the dining area, it took an unreasonable amount of time for both the appetizer and the pizza to arrive. Given how quiet the restaurant was, I couldn’t understand the slow pace.
This experience left me feeling like the quality of service has significantly declined. It seems as though the staff has changed, possibly prioritizing cheaper labor over knowledgeable and attentive service. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I don’t see myself returning to Mamma Lucia anytime soon.
