All time favorite that never disappoints. Expanded entree menu is a plus and mussel pots are amazing that you won't find easily elsewhere.
Mannequin Pis is always wonderful. We shared a hearts of palm/asparagus salad, the Popeye mussels, garlic frites and chocolate mousse - all delicious. Our server, Dennis, was outstanding last night. He was attentive but not intrusive.
Authentic Belgian food and a truly excellent selection of Belgian beers at a good price.
Excellent Belgian beer selection. We all had mussels and they were meh. Ok, but not super flavorful. Our waiter was a bit odd but he did provide good service, just a bit awkward. The place seems a bit tired, could use an overhaul. Food was reasonably priced though. Excellent escargots.
Authentic, Belgian style mussels are the specialty. Many preparations are available. A wide variety of bottledTrappist ales is offered.
Excellent food and service, in general. We were disappointed that we indicated we were celebrating our anniversary but it was not acknowledged. Conversation noise was high but mainly from a single table. They have always had the best moules frites we've ever had. The tarragon pot was excellent and we will return to try others.
Unique restaurant in out-of-the-way location, but easy enough to get to. The restaurant appears to be family-owned and run, and its menu, both food and beverages, remains true to their Belgian tradition. The cuisine is excellent--unusual, very tasty, beautifully presented (but not pretentious), and served at a leisurely pace that makes the diner aware that everything is made to order, and that takes time. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.
My friend recommended Mannequin Pis to me long time ago, I finally have a chance to be in the region. The mussel pot is absolutely delightful. I see other tables orders multiple pots. We had Lavender: the pot with honey lavender that is sweet and flavorful. On the beer list, Trappist beers - Chimay, Westmalle, Rockford, Orval - they are all my favorites. Other foods we ordered are also delicious.
We lived in Belgium for a year when my husband was in the military. Beer and food was very authentic.
great! small spot. Mussels were amazing. Great date spot.

The food was amazing
A hidden gem! Some of the best mussels and fries I've had—even better than in Belgium. Great food, great service.
Always look forward to eating at this restaurant. The mussle soup is fantastic--my most favorite soup. We are never rushed here and enjoy it tremendously.
We used to really love to eat here. Since COVID it has really deteriorated. Only about 1/3 of tables were filled. With all that the mussels came out cold and tough. Bread was stale. Just will not go back. What a pity
Great place for a birthday celebration. They paced the service very well. Never felt rushed but we were well taken care of. Mussels were delicious.
