This place was a 3.5 out of 5 for me. The food is 4.5 and the service is 3 from my one experience there. The issues I had is there is no menu. It's all online so either use the one kiosk they have or your phone. You can use a QR code to visit the menu. They have screens but none listed the menu when I was there. By far the most frustrating part is the pick up of food. You give your phone number and name but must wait in the tiny room in order to receive your food. I was with my daughter who was outside. I went into the store and waited 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge I was there (no one else was in line) only to find out my food was sitting there the entire time. I can't see the name on the food. No one texted or emailed me that the order was ready. The restaurant will likely improve service with time.

Milk and cheese recently open in Olney. The spot is cute and trendy. I ordered the cheesesteak and strawberry milkshake. Both were filling a good. My only regret was not asking to get the cheese on top of the cheesesteak also. I'll definitely be back for the food and atmosphere.

My seafood burger was 10/10 flavor in every bite. Definitely recommend and i'll be back to try other stuff on menu

They opened too early; no available menus before the auto order machine. The location is cramped (why is there a popcorn machine?) and lacks a coherent style. The aesthetic felt rushed. The milkshake menu is extremely limited (3 flavors, 1 extreme flavor), and I saw them making milkshakes with Safeway Select (and for far too much $$ given the ingredients). The lobster roll, while good, is way overpriced for the portion size. The appetizers were decent though. The entire experience felt like it was tailored toward Instagram, rather than nailing the items that are their namesake.

So sorry for all the bad reviews, they must not know what a milkshake should taste like and what a cheesesteak is suppose to taste like, honestly the best I’ve tasted. I absolutely love the food. I came here for my birthday, and I will definitely come back again. Thank you for your wonderful service and food. Not understanding as well as why people are complaining about the machine order as it’s convenient. Again thank you for the food !

I was very excited to try them on 7/9, well they must have a lot of corn things in the product they cook with, I hadn’t had a reaction like this in 10 years to food. The chocolate milkshake was very runny and the steak and cheese was more like bread and grease. Unfortunately I will not be returning but best of luck in your business.

What a disappointment! We, unfortunately, listened to all the hype and came to try the milkshakes. We ordered regular chocolate and strawberry cheesecake extreme shake. It was awful, I am still stunned as this was probably the worst milkshake I ever had. It looked like it was standing somewhere for 20 minutes, whipped creme looked sad, the milkshake was funny and it tasted like chocolate pudding..... Jell-O.

Terrible placing for order machine. No cash option never know when you should order bc the machines by the door and people are lined up all around it plus you never have the chocolate shake with chocolate cheesecake. Sometimes talking is better than machines won't be back

Cookies and cream milkshake was awesome! Definately gotta try one of the deluxe shakes next time I'm there. Also got a Philly cheesesteak which unfortunately was too soggy to eat on the spot. Was good once I got home and had a fork and knife to piece it back together. Still tasted pretty good all things considered!

Learned of this place from a popular social media page. Staff was inattentive, cheesesteak was mediocre at best and the milkshake with cheesecake in pictures look nothing like what is advertised on their page. I feel like we got a cheap rip off from the real thing if it exists. Don't believe paid hype and advertising!! Other places like across the street have better options!

Picked up a cheesesteak tonight and it was fantastic. Saw another comment that the meat is finely chopped and that’s exactly how we like it! Can’t wait to try the milkshakes. Welcome to Olney!!

The lobster roll was just ok. I gave it a lower rating because we’re still in a pandemic and none of the staff wore masks and barely wore gloves while preparing and serving the food.

The cheesecake was good, the Graham Cracker crust was pretty dang tasty, and the entire piece seemed homemade, without that old refrigerator taste which is so often present in restaurants. The cheesesteak meat was finely minced - almost the texture of ground beef, and the cheese tasted waxy and melted oddly, like Kraft white American singles. The Po'Boy was OK: just OK.The shake was disappointing. It was layered, with a half cup of strawberries on the bottom, a cup of vanilla shake, and then a full cup of whipped cream on top. The shake itself tasted like Bryer's Ice Cream and milk, shaken: not stirred. The people were great! Good customer service, so if you go, make sure to eat in, enjoy the staff, and tip them well.Overall though, the food just didn't live up to the hype and most of this stuff (less the excellent cheesecake) could be made at home for a fraction of the price.

I liked their corned beef sandwich, it was quite generous with the meat portions but I think there was a bit too much mustard but that might just be personal preference. Also it has a very cute atmosphere and a helpful kiosk. This place is quite new as it is only their second day out here, I will be returning to milk & cheese for more, hungry for more.
