Playa Bowl in Olney never disappoints. We love the delicious, and nutritious bowls and drinks. I had the Nutelloco Coconut Bowl - it is now one of my favorites.

I like to try different Playa Bowls locations. This one is in a plaza amongst other eateries, etc.
Atmosphere the same as most PBs... clean, light music, and cordial staff. The male cashier ‐ great!!
Unfortunately, this bowl was the worst I had. I only noticed when I left, and I was soooooo disappointed. Ingredients were missing like my blueberries, granola... terrible CocoCraze. 🤮😔 ...ish happens, but I didn't eat all day just for my bowl, so you could only understand my disappointment was on level 100. If I wasn't far when I noticed, I would have returned it.
Anyway folks... these bowls are usual good.

Better consistency among bowls would be great. I just picked up two Nutella bowls and the ingredients amounts are completely different. This is the third time I’ve had this problem and for the price it may not be worth it to come back.

I like playa bowls and this location used to be great but It says they open at 8am and you get there @8 the staff is just opening and blending all of the bases and still preparing to get ready for the day. There is nothing ready basically, which is awkward. You have to wait for your order for over 35 minutes….. sometimes even a hour. What is the point of opening at 8am if you’re not getting your order till 8:45am? There is always just 1-2 people there annd are always talking about non related work stuff which is fine but this is also why it takes longer because they’re distracted. Playa bowls should really have the staff come in earlier to prep Or change the opening time. Because if you say you open at 8 you should be ready to serve your customers at 8 not just gather orders.

We purchased four bowls from this location. The bowls were staked in one bag. On the way home, the car in front of mine stopped abruptly to avoid hitting a deer, causing me to break suddenly. The bag went flying off the seat. Sadly, only one bowl survived. Before cleaning the car my son called playa to explain the incident to the manager in hopes that we would be willing to replace the three bowls or at least give me my points back. The manager told him there was nothing he could do because the story was unverifiable. Basically, we were lying. And I have nothing else to do but come back to get more bowls. The manager didn't think about the packaging, and perhaps the lids were not properly fastened. We took the L. No need for me to spend money at playa again. I was never a huge fan of their products. The fruit never tasted fresh, and the granola was the worst-tasting granola that I have ever had. I always get bowls without the granola.
