Guys, we had the best Lunch today that we've ever had. Beekeepers are best Cocktail, bar none, Lobster Bisque, Top Drawer, Proscuitto Sandwich, Phenomenal, Bodino, all time Fave, and even the Coffee was awesome. But want to give a worthy shout out to Kate. She is so, so sweet and so eager to make our Lunch special. She answered every question and made all suggestions with zeal and couldn't be any more kind. We went to Salt and Vine prior to seeing a show. Stacey was our server and was incredible. She made us feel like we were the only ones there with lots of conversation, recommendations and being so personable. While the food was delicious, it was Stacey that made the evening spectacular (along with the tiramisu)!

We were a patty of four on a Saturday evening. The place was packed, and it was very noisy, hard to carry on a conversation at our table. The food was very good, although the portions were a little small for the price. Also, bar service was so slow the manager comped our drinks.

Our brunch at Salt & Vine this past Sunday was excellent! I ordered the artichoke and lump crab frittata, which was perfectly portioned and mouthwatering delicious. My husband ordered one of the fresh pasta dishes with butternut squash and brown butter and said it was one of his all-time favorite pasta dishes. My mother ordered the grilled salmon with broccolini and was very happy with how well it was prepared. The brunch cocktails were excellent and generous in size. Highly recommend having brunch at Salt & Vine and we'll definitely be back.

My salad was very good. That's the only nice thing I can say. Beyond that - a truly lousy experience this past Sunday evening. This was probably the most impersonal and inhospitable restaurant experience I've ever had. Within minutes my wife and I identified the experience -what was 'off' - it was like we were a kind of intrusion rather than guests. It was my birthday, which I reported when I made the reservation. Did anyone know? Of course not. Why ask then? The entrees were mediocre at best. Soupy pasta dish, and prepared with no delicacy at all. The only thing that felt remotely human was about 2 minutes with our waitress as we were paying our bill at the table (she was "present" at that moment). For a place that tries to be casual but upscale - a total failure. You'd be better off at Chipotle. They'd at least notice you. Save your money. I should have gone back to Cypriana in Maple Lawn for my birthday For the record, I've never written a review on here that is this scathing. In fact, the few times I've reviewed, have mostly been highly complimentary. and I usually would rather say nothing than be negative. I know it's a tough business and appreciate 'local' restaurants. But - epic fail.
