We just attended for the first time, we were very excited to eat here given the excellent reviews. We were seated directly in front of the counter across from the rest room which did affect our experience as we overheard all of the staff’s conversations and service calling. The service was amicable and social but there was a bit of delay and lack of attention to detail. One of our issues with service was that our table was full with dishes taking up space before our meals arrived. We had no other choice than to request that staff remove the excess plates and they did so reluctantly appearing confused by our request. Our most serious issue was that the food was not good. We were a party of three who ordered $80 of food but could only eat 5% of our meal. My mom and spouse ordered the turkey club one with fries and the other with onion rings. The fries were so soggy while the onion rings were basically burnt. The turkey club itself was layered with so much overly salted turkey and thick tomato’s that it was a bit repulsive. We also order empanadas which were pretty good. We also ordered the bagel and lox dish which was also pretty good but was served with an untoasted bagel. When I asked to have the bagel toasted again the staff looked perplexed and then there was a serious delay in getting me the bagel. We did not enjoy our visit and cannot recommend the restaurant but we think there is potential for improvement!

What a fantastic experience! The staff was top notch, super friendly, and so sweet to our kiddos! The atmosphere is clean and cute. The food was absolutely delicious and made truly from scratch! Our server knew all about the menu and his recommendations were spot on. We cannot wait to come back!

Great food at this adorable little restaurant. Fast service and delicious bacon and pancakes. Yummmmm
EDIT: revisited and the food has gone downhill and the service has really gone downhill. Waited forever for a water. Had to ask multiple times. Food was just ok. Never came and checked to see if I needed anything. Had to go up to the counter to ask for what I needed. Won’t be back

We just found out on google “Breakfast”. We took a chance at Scratch Kitchen. We are local. Found it to be a very clean and well maintained place. We had a blast. Very nice breakfast with pleasant service.

Actually a 2.5 star review rounded up. So the prior reviews made this place look outstanding so I suffered the wrath of a child and switched our destination from CFA to here. We ordered the Whotella, brunch burger, crab cake and children's wrap. Every dish felt oddly not configured from scratch. The brunch burger may not have been a from scratch patty with a quickly thrown together salad and a lot of onion on top. The Whotella changed animals and became a mouse, which then had to be explained. The kids wrap was big enough for an adult. The crab cake was seared and close to completely singed to a 1/8 inch size with no flavor but salt emanating. The bacon was perfect and although I couldn't tell if they were hand cut or frozen, the hash was also crispy and yummy. The serving staff was amazing and the place feels like a cute beach town restaurant , but I don't think in good conscience I'd recommend it. I may try it again.

If you’re considering Scratch Kitchen & Bistro for catering, proceed with caution.
I placed a breakfast catering order for delivery — a relatively straightforward request. Not only did the delivery arrive missing half the order, but when contacted the restaurant, the response was astonishingly unprofessional. I was told it would be 1–2 hours before the rest of the food could be sent — completely unacceptable for a scheduled morning event.
To make matters worse, they had the audacity to ask if I would still be paying for the food they forgot to deliver.
Mistakes happen — but how a business handles them speaks volumes. This experience showed a lack of organization, urgency, and basic customer service. I will not be using them again, and I recommend others think twice before relying on them for anything time-sensitive or event-related.
