My family and I really loved Umbertos. We’re so sad it’s closed down now… my dad mentions all the time about how he wish he could’ve done something to help Umbertos. ??? we really miss going. The family that worked there were so so sweet. We wish nothing but the best for them. It was such a great calm environment for a family dinner. so amazing. We’re really going to miss it.

Sorry this place closed. It wasn’t perfect but it was friendly and local and made some of the best shrimp fra diavolo I ever had

We were here several months ago, and it was horrible! There was no one else in the restaurant, they sat us in the bar, and they were out of spaghetti. How can an Italian restaurant be out of spaghetti? I forget what type of pasta they substituted, but it wasn't cooked correctly and was gummy/pasty like it had never actually been cooked, only sat in hot water until it got soft. I find it difficult to believe the glowing reviews are actually about THIS restaurant.Parking: The parking was great, because there was no one else in the lot!

We were there for a private event, but the food and service were fantastic.

Best crispy thin crust pizza in the area! Light, flavorful sauce made with actual tomatoes, spices baked in, and quality toppings all combine to make an exceptionally good pie that is very bold and flavorful. Be sure to order it "well done, extra crispy", because that's how I like it.The restaurant is mostly takeout but I always like to stop in, as it's a warm and cozy place to chill out and have a good glass of red wine or a beer and relax for a bit.Pro tip: get a pie or two from here, then go visit the surrounding craft breweries. Umberto's is conveniently located right around the corner from Lone Oak, Elder Pine, and Waredaca and immediately outside of Olney.

UmBerto’s is one of my favorite places. The owner knows me from my going often over the years and I get a hug plus the best eggplant parmigiana around. This is one of my favorite dishes so I feel I am an expert judge of its quality. Their tira midi is also divine. Everything is homemade. Do you yourself a favor andvisit UmBerto’s!!!Parking: Never a problem

Ordered dinner . Worst experience ever . Delivery was delayed as food was not ready in timely manner . By the time food arrived few items were hot rest were cold . Chicken Alfredo was with no chicken , fettuccine Alfredo has no flavor , egg plant Parmesan was with angel hair pasta and a dab of marinara sauce . Bread with strong smell of yeast. Will never order from them again .

So every other time I’ve been here, the food has been okay (it’s been at least a year since I’ve dined here though). Tonight, however, was a trainwreck. I ordered the veal parm which I have gotten before and have enjoyed. When the waiter brought it he said “chicken parm” to which I said “you mean veal?” And he said “yeah veal”. Go to bite into it, it’s chicken. Called over the waiter and said “are you sure this isn’t chicken?” And he said he would go ask the chef. Promptly came back and said “we’ll make you a new one” (meaning it was, in fact, chicken). A surprisingly short time went by before I received my second one which definitely looked more like veal. Went to cut into it, when I say it would not cut, I mean I was sawing that thing with all my might and it would not cut. Take a closer look and find out why. IT WAS COMPLETELY RAW. Now for anyone, serving raw veal is a big no no, but I happen to be 8 months pregnant so that is a REAL big no no. My mother (who had finished her food by this time) brought the plate directly to the waiter and pointed out that it was raw and that I am pregnant which is not good. She then asked for them to make me manicotti, but they were out so I ended up getting ravioli. Which had tasted like it was just popped in the microwave and the sauce was so watery my ravioli was basically swimming. Honestly, I would have expected at least for a discount on the bill or something, but alas, no such luck. But we didn’t bother to fight it, we just wanted to leave. At least the waiter was nice…

Tried this place twice. I don't know how they stay in business. Not even the pizza is good. Parking lot is always empty.

I decided to give this spot a try. It appears that this place has been around for a long time. Hundreds of pics of families eating here. I arrived and luckily it was only a few cars. The staff that I met was very nice. He took my order. I asked for Rum cake and they didn't have it. The food was nice and hot even 20 minutes after I got home. I opened the container and the Fettuccine was like soup. The food was very runny and had absolutely no seasoning. Maybe the food changed over the years, I don't know. I really don't think I will be back unless I try their pizza. I am disappointed.

I like the customer service experience, food was ready very fast it was convenience because it was around 5:30pm and I didn't have lunch, regarding to the food it was ok well my husband ordered chicken parmigiana and asked for alfredo sauce on the side food was serve the other way around even so he said the marinata and chicken feel fresh, I ordered Linguine chicken Alfredo and instead I got angel hair, well I was ok with that but the flavor was missing I thought that it would be much better since the server said they prepair food by order and was no body besides my husband and I, we ordered a tiramisú as desert it was good but frozen which it's not the way should be. Hope this is just because but I love? and I read good comments about so I will give it a try ?

That was the most surreal meal I have eaten in a long time. I went there when it opened and didn't love it, and I should have just continued driving past it tonight, but I figured "why not? It's been around for awhile now, maybe it's gotten better." It hasn't. I walked in and there was no one else there - not a great sign. But I got a table and looked at the menu. The light above me kept flickering, so I asked to move to a different table. Which I did, only to find out that all of the lights in the dining room were flickering. I was really afraid I was going to have a seizure. Anyway, I ordered a minestrone soup and the scallops fra diavlo. After a few minutes the soup came, but the waitress told me they were out of scallops. Ok, no big deal. After confirming that the lasagna had meat in it, I ordered that. And I asked for some bread. A minute later the waitress came over and told me they didn't have any bread (what Italian restaurant doesn't have bread?!?! Plus they have pizza so there is dough in the kitchen!) - but they'd give me another soup if I wanted on the house. I declined. Then the lasagna came out. As soon as she put it down I said to her "this is stuffed shells?" She said, no, this was their lasagna. I will call bulls--t on that. It was stuffed shells with meat sauce on top. That is not, has never been, and will never be, lasagna. It was fine, I finished, got the check (which charged me for the soup BTW) and left. And get this - as I was finishing my meal, one of the other employees came over, turned on all the lights so none of them flickered - which means she could have done that at the beginning of my meal! Needless to say, I won't be eating there again. And you shouldn't either.
