Lenny's Delicatessen

Ordered a single waffle through their website and was told to show up at 2:33pm. I asked if the order was ready yet and was told no. Had to wait an additional 25min after getting there. So why not tell me pick up was at 3pm? Worst part is the waffle was cold when I got it. So clearly the order was ready for a while and was just sitting around.

Had my mother pick up a reuben and the person had the nerve to ask what she wanted on it, kind of confused you have someone making a sandwich and doesn't no what goes on it ? She dropped it off when I went to eat it it was cornbeef and sauce. Can't wait tell they open to take that mess back.😡😡😡😡😡

This is a cafeteria. I guess its good. Very very grumpy (aka rude) at the end of the day. My food was hastily cooked and errors were made. I would not eat here again, though it wasnt a disaster. Just not good.

Do they even pay attention to the customers???? For the past 3 weeks I’ve tried them thinking it would get better. It only got worse. Every single order I made was wrong. This last order took the cake. Ordered a simple hotdog with mustard, onions and relish. The worst tasting hotdog ive ever had from there. Roll was so burnt it was black that was all I could taste. Don’t think I’ll be going back and the sad part is they used to be known for the best hotdogs around town. NOT ANYMORE. Food and service has gone to trash 🗑️

This used to be one but of my fave places for a good breakfast sandwich or breakfast food in general but lately service has been terrible to the point i don’t even think ill return. As a customer of 15+ years, this is disappointing. Food is always good, the little smart remarks from the people on the grill is what pushes me away.

Better corned beef sandwich at Weiss deli on East Lombard Street. It's worth the drive, the corned beef sandwich,stuffed with corned beef for an excellent price. Weiss deli customer service is excellent, as soon as you walk in you are greeted with may I help you . Lenny's service is extremely poor, order takers behind the counter do not want to wait on customers. They just stand behind the counter looking like they are busy but the only customer is you and the person in front of you. The restaurant was completely empty.Behind the counter had four people around 4:00 p.m. ,I guess all of them were tired. Worst customer service I ever encountered in my community. I will never spend my money in this place again. One good thing is the female cashier was very nice. The cashier needs to work behind the counter and serve customers food also, she was a bright spot of the visit. Signing off, never again at Lenny's deli.

Food was made to order quickly. The guys taking your order at the grill were great. Food and coffee were good. Plenty of seating available. The Breakfast Special was plentiful and economical. Parking was easy at 7:30 am.
UPDATE 10\12\24 Enjoyed my breakfast so much last time when I came by myself that I had to bring my wife this time. It was a bit busy at 9am on a Saturday, but there was more staff behind the grill so the service was just as quick as before.
