Welp, I have been supporting this chain since their Silver Spring location. I was ecstatic once this location opened AND they started selling food !! Win !! Win !!. I have tried several tea and juice beverages that I love. I tried the food and got sick sick !! I don't know if the grease was dirty, or the chicken was bad but once was enough for me. ...and I was missing a side. Definitely wasn't worth calling about as I threw my food and my family's food in the trash. The beverages are enough to keep me interested. Buuuttttttt, customer service could use an emergency turnaround. I usually enjoy youthful workers but the batches over the past 2 years have been pretty awful. I last visited 2 days ago, and once entered, one employee looked at me and continued a task w her back turned. Another employee was standing near the left wall preoccupied w breathing. I was the only customer. No one greeted or acknowledged me. After 90 seconds or so, the breathing employee stepped over to the register that I was standing. Silent. After 10 awkward seconds, she says "have you decided what you want to order". Ummm, I knew what I wanted while driving to the establishment. I ordered my Hot Honey Black Tea to be faced w her "you want anything else". DONE !! My order was ready in 30 seconds, and I was out. And I am gonna stay away for a few months. Kung Fu Tea & TKK Express, please don't let these young adults ruin something great !!

First impressions are everything and I was very impressed with the cleanliness, temperature and service!!! My youngest daughter (10 years old) and I have been trying Boba around the city of Baltimore and we both agree that this place is hands down the best!!! The bubbles are super soft and yummy!! The teas are extremely chilled and to top it off the staff was super attentive and pleasant!! They overheard us making our final decision and she already had the order in the system and confirmed it back to us!!! The young ladies were full of smiles and most importantly quality of service!!! A quick stop to try out King Fu Tea before hitting back home is always good. The staff is always very knowledgeable of the product because I generally get the same item but, I am always open to their suggestions. I see they now have food options I will have to try it during the next visit.

2 stars for the bubble tea it’s pretty good. But the chicken in the chicken sandwich and tenders taste like PLASTIC. I’ve ordered it 2 times 1 year apart and as of today it is still undercooked and taste like you are chewing plastic chicken. The first time I ordered it I went back after taking a bite and showed them how undercooked it was and they apologized and gave me another one and the second one they gave me was just as bad so I didn’t go back. I went back to get bubble tea today and decided to order the crispy chicken sandwich again a year later thinking it’s been a year they must of made changes but nope. I believe they are frying the chicken at the incorrect temperature or something because it’s literally never done. I am no picky eater, 3 undercooked sandwiches is no mistake my stove at home can fry chicken all the way done so I’m confused why a restaurant chain with professional grade equipment is having trouble frying their chicken so it’s done. Management needs to discontinue the chicken until it’s solve, it’s honestly a health hazard, and they’re asking for the health department to get involved. I hope they take this review seriously and make changes. Do not order the crispy chicken sandwich until they fix this your stomach will HURT after eating it.

Just stay away this is the second time my order was incorrect but more important my food was not done. The customer service was awful . The restaurant was dirty Sunday evening i have actually never saw it like that. Yesterday evening staff failed badly.

*READ UPDATE AT THE END!!!!* I'm surprised at all the bad reviews because I've been eating from here since like November 2020 and it's some of the best fried chicken I've had. That's why I'm giving 5 stars. UNFORTUNATELY, tonight I was not satisfied at all. I ordered thru DoorDash because the app kept saying that y'all weren't taking anymore orders. I got a 4 piece wings for my toddlers and a 10 piece for myself. Now, here I am 7 months pregnant having to find something else to eat due to our chicken not being fully cooked. I can tell the order was rushed due to how quick the order was delivered to my home. Not only that, the wing sizes were way smaller than usual. I'm very disappointed! The 5 stars are simply due to all of my other experiences since I first ordering from there and not based off tonight's mishap.12/19/2022 I ordered food thru the app (which uses GrubHub as their delivery service). I placed my order before 8pm. The delivery time kept changing so I contacted GH to see what was going on with my order. The customer rep couldn't get ahold of the driver, but said my order would be delivered between 8:53-9:03pm. I received a call around 8:40 from one of the GH reps saying that my order was picked up 20 mins ago. This location is about 10-12 mins away from my house (I know because my job is a few doors away). The reps asked if they could remake my order, but they were told that they already drained all oil out of the fryer. My order was given to the wrong person/delivery driver and now here I am 7 months pregnant and hungry due to someone else's negligence. I've given this place so many chances, but you all are close to losing a loyal customer! I AM BEYOND P*SSED!!!!

I got the Tender and Kwa Kwa combo for take out.The chicken was bland - really no taste. The kwa kwa bao was not what I expected - no fault of their own. No sauces included, had to ask for ranch - (Ken's steakhouse for reference.) Curly fries were soggy.Perhaps it's that I had to eat it then and there?Really nothing special. Did not make me wanna say 'Cluck yeah' maybe something else, but can't say it here. Would consider it again if a friend begged to go.

Went in to purchase a bubble tea and saw cheesecake in the display. Ordered a slice just on a whim with my bubble tea for 4.99 on the display label and got over-charged for 5.99. Asked about the price difference and the employee said that was an old label. I asked if I could get it for the 4.99 price and they responded that I could "either pay the 5.99 for it or don't get it at all. Your call." Probably should have checked the price first. This was right behind another customer, an African-American customer, that the same employee bent over backwards to help get a better price on her purchase for 15min. I'm white, the employees were African-American. Bad business and reverse discrimination practices, maybe? Anyway, by far the worst cheesecake I've had as a lifelong cheesecake connoisseur. The cheesecake was overly heavy, pasty, flat, dry, and virtually flavorless.
I am updating my previous review. They have improved a lot. Whoever is preparing the orders now are great. Real upgrade. They are reading what is being ordered compared to just doing it like how they want to. Thanks.

Garbage. Overpriced, over spiced and disgusting. Immediately sick in my stomach after eating it. Do not go there, the food looks nothing like the pictures and it's crap. Worst experience I've had in YEARS!!!!

The boabao drinks are really good. Tkk chicken not good at all my chicken also wasn’t all the way done. The skin had not flavor wanted try something different. The best out of the combo was the cheesy curly fries and the green tea in the combo is horrible I’ll just stick to the drinks. The food is way to pricey for the chicken to still be rubbery

Got bubble tea here in the past and it was great and perfectly made. Today, not so much. I ordered it as I usually do, no ice, let's say it again, no ice. The label indicated no ice, yet they filled half the cup with ice. I didn't shake the cup when I left as I was in a hurry. But this is the first time they have screwed up in the 3 or 4 times I've been here.I don't like ice in my bubble tea. It inhibits my ability to get to the bubbles and, frankly, it waters down the tea. If I had realized, I would have had them remake it, but I didn't but will remember to check in the future at this and all other locations. Shouldn't have to if you order it without ice, it shouldn't have ice in it.
