I have to say, I was very skeptical when i walked in. It looks like a cafeteria. I got that catfish poboy and my husband got the brisket dinner. We were honestly blown away by that taste. We eat a lot of places and the smoke brisket was so delicious. The fish was delicately breaded and crispy and flavor was so good. I was definitely proven wrong in my assumptions.

I really don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I was extremely disappointed with the establishment. Their hours have them opening at 11:30am, and I drove up around 11:40 and walk in. Was greeted, but told they were not open yet. No big deal, I asked when they were planning to open because the workplace all wanted to eat from there today. I was told around 12:30, and I said okay, I’ll try back then!I called them at 12:45, and a lady answered. I asked if they were open for business now, and she just said back bluntly, no we aren’t. I politely asked if I can place an order now for when they are open, or not, and she pretty rudely said “no you can’t.” So I said back “okay” and she says, “uh huh, bye!” And hangs up.Let’s just say I decided quickly I wasn’t trying there again today, or anytime soon…I’m old school, I guess. I’m big on professionalism, and being polite, as a business owner… and definitely didn’t feel like they wanted our business. ??♂️

I called in to make an order and rude older lady on the phone rushed me to make my order. She even told me to hang up and just call back when I have my order together. I understand a business being busy but that was very rude customer service.

Since moving to Owings, I have eaten at Pinky's at least twice a month. The food is always tender and delicious, and the portions are very filling. Although I've never had a bad meal here, I especially recommend the ribs, crawfish etouffee when it's there, and the mac and cheese as a side! I also have enjoyed trying oxtail, the roast beef and meatloaf. Always excellent and friendly service from everyone who works there. You are missing out if you don't try Pinky's!
