Stouts don't disappoint, Oars Out and Breakfast Stouts are my favs!!Great bunch of people, outdoor seating in warmer weather , and IVY ? is a welcoming Lil mascot ..We've been a few times and will return, best brews in SOMD.

We’ve been going to “Scorps” for years. It’s always been a chill, family and pet-friendly spot with a friendly owner, staff, and expansive group of regulars. The Thursday (and occasionally Friday and Saturday) food trucks are a welcome option in an area where dining options quickly feel limited. The frequent special and limited beer releases are always a must to check out, and the monthly trivia and karaoke nights hosted by the local SMASH homebrew club are a fun time! There’s always been a nice variety of beer and seltzer options, and the recent addition of small 3-tap kegerator allows visitors to try beers brewed in smaller batches, essentially like a pilot setup.In the wake of the pandemic, it’s been great to see Scorpion adapt and even expand, especially as the number of breweries shuttering nationwide continue to grow; outdoor seating was expanded, the tap room was moved to a dedicated section of the building away from the brewery operations, and more recently the tap room area has been enlarged. We’re fortunate to have Scorpion as a local brewery option and happily recommend them to everyone!

Great little brewery in southern Maryland that hosts homebrew creations as well. Indoor and outside seating. Also has board games and TVs inside. If you're not into beer there's even seltzers you get to choose the flavor of!

Very lackluster. Staff is coolOwner is nice but I'm just reviewing the product (as it should be for reviews)They need to keep at least 2 standard beers on tap (the entire lineup is rotated)Just came here on a 10-14-22. The flavor of the beers is very weak, does not linger. You basically taste the initial flavor profile and doesImmediately. (Picture you eating an orange, you bite into it then you taste water like 1 second later.They had a dipa ipa 9.5 percent. Great stats l, love ipa I'm a huge fan

There is no food service at the Scorpion Brewing. Only their craft beer. There was a food truck that was there when I went. The food truck sold falafels and rice bowls. I thought I took a pic of it to remember name for a review. Darn it. But I digress, this is about Scorpion. They had about 6 different ales, IPAs there to choose from. I had the Southern Maryland Special. It was very similar to a Blue Moon. There was one beer there that was 10% alcohol. I was driving though ...so none for me. I met the owner. He is super friendly. The ladies at the counter were super friendly too. There are tables and chairs outside as well as inside. Around back there is a small stage with some tables and chairs too. Plus out back near the stage there is a hill if they ran out of seating for a band. You could bring a blanket and sit on that if weather permitted. A little tucked away if you are not local, but if you are a beer person and want to take a day trip, I would definitely go!

Very cute patio out back, where there was live music playing when we stopped in. I enjoyed the lime shandy (lime+Hefeweizen) and sampled a few others that were also tasty. It was a nice place to relax in the shade on a hot day with a cold drink!

Fantastic crew, great brews, wonderful atmosphere and a fun time at this place. Wonderful jazz music was provided by the group Magic Ray Jazz. Highly recommended for a casual and good time with friends.
