Anthony's is a new Italian restaurant in the area. The menu offers quite a selection of dishes. I tried a standard meat pasta dish and it was very good. The salad was also very good. An exception was the bread and their own olive oil/butter spread - they could have done much better on both. My one complaint would be the chairs. They were very uncomfortable, and it really was difficult to enjoy the dinner. Also, the table height was off - too high. So, good food, but uncomfortable seats.

Went for lunch for the first time and everything was excellent. They didn't have a lunch menu, but everything on the dinner menu is about half price with smaller portions.I had the Chicken Toscana which was chicken, sausage, Tuscan beans, spinach and rosemary in a cognac sauce. It was delicious and unique. Others had a Caesar salad and fettuccine Bolognese, and everyone was pleased.

Food is a disappointment here. We both ordered chicken dishes and they were truly awful! Pasta was overcooked (a capital crime for an Italian restaurant) and chicken was mushy instead of lightly crusted. Lemon sauce was overpowering and oily and the chicken tasted strongly of the egg batter. The marsala sauce was too sweet and also overpowering. This is an Italian American restaurant, not Italian; for the latter, try Pope's Creek closer to town.

The salmon dish was out of this world. The servers were attentive to us and to every last detail. The chef is a master and an artist. A wonderful evening.

** I am always fascinated by 5 star reviews where the reviewer is clearly not from the area and they mention how great the food is without actually mentioning what they had to eat. Kind of makes you wonder. **You are far better off eating at Olive Garden than Anthony's. The food is terrible - you would think that an Italian restaurant wouldn't struggle to cook pasta but you would be wrong. We had Veal Parmigiana and Veal Saltimbocca each came with a side of cold pasta. The red sauce for the Parmigiana was watery and left a puddle on the plate. The Saltimbocca was poorly seasoned and tasted of nothing but sage. A side of what looked like Kraft grated cheese was brought after our meals were served. The whole experience was off putting, what started out as pleasant interactions with the bartender turned into rather bizarre exchanges. Explanations that there was only one cook in the kitchen followed by 'do you know how to cook? Do you want a job?' At another point out server lamented about the wall separating the bar area from the dining and how it shouldn't be there so customers can see how busy they are. Then an apology about how long the food was taking with an explanation that the Veal Parmigiana took longer to cook because it was 'so thick.' Huh? What they lack in quality and cooking ability they make up for in price - including a 3% service fee added to a check for two people without explanation. We certainly don't mind paying for a quality dining experience but nothing about our dinner tonight was pleasant. Maybe they were having an off night, but I regret not just going to Olive Garden - that's saying something.

This place is charming and worth the 20-minute drive from either Easton or Cambridge. The nod to old Italy is clear and the welcoming staff are friendly and accommodating. The manager made cocktails catered to our tastes. The chef greeted our table and every course was picked for us by the chef. He paid attention to our likes and dislikes and prepared or melas special for us. This is a treasure and an experience you will remember for a long time.

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner and evening for the first time at Anthony’s. If you’re looking for delicious and authentic Italian food I highly recommend Anthony’s. Anthony is a gracious host and outstanding chef. I enjoyed every bite of the appetizer Burrata Camicia and one of the signature dishes - Rigatoni Eduardo. The atmosphere at Anthony’s is warm and inviting. All in all- Oxford is lucky to have such a gem of a restaurant. I’ll be back next time I am on the Eastern Shore.

The Eggplant Parmigiano was the best around, and I loved the marinara! The service was excellent. The atmosphere was so relaxing and good for actual comfortable seating and conversation. Masterpieces of art surrounded the eating areas, which were replicas of classics from the Vatican. We are definitely returning. They offered lunch time portions and prices. A very minor part missing was most local Italian restaurants offer a small bread basket which they didn't. Otherwise it was excellent.Vegetarian options: There was no shortage of vegetarian options, and as great as the service was I'm sure they'd accommodate if desired.

Open since August 2023 this was a wonderful lunch off the beaten path. But if you want good Italian, I suggest giving it a try.The calamari was fresh and served with 2 dipping sauces - a traditional marinara and a Sicilian orange sauce. Both were equally good. The Caesar salad was a nice portion for lunch. The dressing to salad ratio was perfect for me but my hubby would have liked a bit more dressing. The Caesar salad does come with anchovies but they are accommodating and will serve without. The menu right now for lunch is the dinner menu but with lunch size portions. We had the lasagna and portofino pasta. Both come out piping hot and were delicious. No room for dessert this time but look forward to trying it in the future.

My friend and I had dinner, I was expecting more, food was good, service excellent, with all of the Five Star restaurants in St Mike's and Easton and Cambridge. Owner/Chef was sitting at the bar when we arrived and sitting at the bar when we left, who is overlooking the preparation and presentation of the food? No need to rush back. The bar is noisy a hold over from Latitude 38.

This was the first time visiting Anthony's restaurant and I have to say it was amazing!! The restaurants ambience is lovely, the staff were all amazing, and the dinner...oh my the dinner!!! I had the veal Marsala, my father had the eggplant parmigiana and my mom had the sea scallops with a tasty lemon caper sauce. We split the calamari and that was a great starter!! Very lightly fried with a lovely marinara sauce and a sweet and sour sauce. (That was very different but amazing with the calamari). To start with, they bring fresh semolina bread with a spread made with marscapone cheese, olives and some other things I forget...anyway this started the night and it was a great start, the flavors were fantastic! For desert we had zuppa anglaise, we split it three ways but next time I will have my own! They have an extensive wine selection and a decent beer selection. Chef Anthony has paired several wines with each main course. We had a great meal and a real nice time for dinner. Looking forward to the next time we visit Anthony's.

They had the wine I enjoy... Tuscan Chardonnay. The food was wonderful. Appetizers were great proportions and delicious. They made me chicken piccata that wasn't even on the menu.... Veal piccata was however. It was heavenly. Cooked perfectly. Desserts so good, special and made with love. Topped off with great espresso! Only downside is the atmosphere. It was slightly chilly and just seemed a little odd. That won't stop me from coming back however
