My Ruben was exceptional, and the shrimp sandwich and cheese steak I saw on other plates were the same. Waitress was there and seemed to know what we needed when we needed it. The room atmosphere was rustic and made you feel completely at home.

After a morning of boating and realizing that everything else in the area was closed (it was the day after Thanksgiving), my friend and I luckily found Doc's Sunset Grille online. We called, they said they were open, and they had plenty of boat parking spaces, score! There were a good number of people there so service was a bit slow, but someone eventually came and took our order. We shared the Hot Crab Dip and Crab Cake Platter (because why would you get a non-crab item while on the Bay?!?). Both were delicious. The crab dip was really heavy so I was feeling kind of full after eating just that. The crab cakes were huge and pretty tasty. Lots of fresh crab which I loved. Also came with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans, which I loved less. The green beans were a bit soggy and too garlicky for me. But the crab cake, yum! Not the best crab cakes I've had in the area, but super solid. Would definitely come back!

Great food and view from the deck. A place to catch a bite and view.

This is a delightful restaurant! It's an informal atmosphere. The food is delicious! We've been twice for supper and had mussels. Crab cakes. Super Margaritas. We've not been there for lunch, but think we'll check that out today. Why wouldn't it be a great lunch please, too?!!! Stay tuned?!!

Recently sat outside for dinner at Doc's with my wife and toddler son. Service was prompt and attentive, the food was excellent, and the patio was beautiful right on the water. We had a great time and I am looking forward to going back sometime in the future.

This establishment has fallen far from when it was the Masthead. I don't normally give low reviews, but from the getgo our experience was subpar. The location is fantastic; there is no denying that. The setup is well planned, but execution leaves much to be desired. First and foremost, the place is in shambles, and not the "seaside rustic" look that can be charming. There is a significant amount of black mold coming out of the air ducts, cobwebs all over the place, water stains and damage to the ceiling, a clear attempt at masking a mold smell with cleaning supplies, and a completely unkempt appearance to the entrance. The food is simply a Sysco pump and dump. They pump it in from the truck and dump it onto your plate. Bland and boring menu with the execution of a middle school cafeteria. The mixed drinks were too sweet and clearly low grade mixes.

Food is exceptional LOCAL specialties.... Service is laid back but competent. Ambiance is casual and comfortable. Truly a local gem.

The crab dip is worth the visit. Amazing. Fried oysters were ok. More fried than oysters but I guess that's expected. Dinner on their deck is a must, even on a cloudy, chilly night. Nothing better. Service was good and food was quick. A really nice night.

On our US east coast road trip we stayed in Oxford for a couple of nights between our drive from Cape May to Annapolis. We had a list of local restaurants on our list and Doc's was one of them, just a mile up the road from our where we were staying. A fantastic dockside location with dining tables positioned for a perfect view of the water and the sunset beyond. Margaritas and beers followed by generous, excellent fish dishes and the sunset for our dessert! A really lovely memorable evening, thanks to you Doc's!
