The menu here is extremely overpriced, and the service needs a lot of work. The waitress made an error with our order and had an attitude when we asked for corrections. The mango lassi was bitter and expensive. The food is good, but it’s not worth the price and experience we had. I would not recommend eating here.

The food was reasonable, overpriced due to the area. What got me was that we received no refills on our drinks and that there is a service charge of 18% that they weren't willing to remove it as it goes towards the top for the waiters. When I asked if it all goes towards the wait staff, he said no.

I increased my rating by one simply because we left an item at the table and they were kind enough to bring out outside to us as we left.

Come here every year for Katsucon and we always ask the question - did we come to national harbor for the con or for Bombay?

Overall food was good. However service was abysmal. Server would play on thier phone and ignore us. Waters were not filled, beer was not resold, food was served to ys barely warm. We were straight up neglected. No excuse!

The prices might be a bit high for the portion size, but hey it's national harbor, and it's nothing more than most places in the area. But what you get in that portion is great. The heat is perfect, and the flavors literally jump onto your palette. Our group got an assortment of dishes, and all of them were fantastic.

Definitely recommended, as long as you're not afraid of a bit of spice.

Recently dinning at The Bombay Street Food Restaurant with my wife, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by the service we received from our server, Raeya A.
Upon arrival, we were seated at a table directly across from the restroom entrances, despite the restaurant not being crowded and there being plenty of other seating options available. After several minutes of waiting, Raeya greeted my wife but completely ignored my greeting, which felt dismissive.
Additionally, she made an inappropriate remark to my wife, asking, "You look sickly? Are you sick?" This comment was particularly concerning as my wife was well-dressed and in good spirits. It seemed to reflect a lack of cultural sensitivity and awareness, which is vital in the hospitality industry.
While Raeya did offer to cover one of our three main courses as a way to acknowledge the discomfort caused by her comments, it did not fully address the situation. We felt uncomfortable addressing our concerns with the manager at the time, but I believe it is important for the restaurant to recognize and address these issues.
Cultural competency is essential in providing excellent customer service, and I hope that Raeya receives the training needed to improve her interactions with guests from diverse backgrounds.
Given our experience, I regret to say that I cannot recommend this restaurant. I hope this feedback is taken constructively.

Super slow service even when they are not busy. Mandatory gratuity of 18% added for parties of any size to dine in. Food is overpriced for the quantity and quality.

I had an incredible dining experience at Bombay Street Food National Harbor! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Indian flavors that transported me straight to the streets of Mumbai.

What truly set this visit apart was the exceptional service. The head chef personally came out to help me select the perfect meal, ensuring I got a taste of their most authentic dishes. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and it was clear how much care went into the preparation.

To top it off, the bartender guided me through their unique cocktail menu, recommending drinks inspired by Indian culture. Each cocktail was expertly crafted, perfectly complementing the meal and adding to the overall experience.

This is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine and a warm, personalized touch. I can't wait to come back!
