If you love Thai food, Ginger is the place to be. The location is great. It is located in the MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino. The food was excellent, the service was 10/10, and I love the decorations. Ginger had a wonderful atmosphere and vibes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I expected a lot better from this place . It is definitely not value for money . One of the dishes had a hair in it. They agreed to give us a replacement but it arrived only after we prompted them and when it finally came we had already finished eating . Worst was a raw piece of chicken in Penang curry, very disappointing . I would not go there again

While we were at the MGM Casino in Maryland , we visited Ginger restaurant. The decor was really nice as well as layout. Our server was really nice and hopeful. We ordered the Vietnamese ravioli, the sweet and sour chicken, the chicken pad thi noodles, a tofu pad thi noodles, a Vietnamese pho,
A fried rice dish and jasmine tea. I don’t know exactly what their specialty is because all our dishes lacked flavor . I have never seen where the tofu was fried from the outside, but was hollowed inside. Their fusion of Asian dishes just didn’t do it for me. The jasmine tea was very good.

Very expensive, below average Chinese food lacking flavor. String beans were grossly overcooked and soggy. Curry was the least flavorful curry I have eaten with no heat. Unfortunately, this restaurant cannot be recommended.

After gambling at the casino....I went over to Ginger to get something to eat and was so disappointed with my meal. I ordered the soft shell crab fried rice. The soft shells were fried extremely hard and we're not drained of grease. Let the crab sit on some paper towels to drain that old grease.
Ginger is a very nice place. They provided excellent service..

We were at MGM for a concert and decided to try the Ginger. A lot of people were in the restaurant so we figured it must be good. The waitress was ok, we didn't receive and refills for our drinks. The food was VERY BLAND it had no taste at all. You would think that for the price the food would have some type of taste.

Disappointed prices have basically doubled since we last dined here and the portions have gotten smaller. Used to pick up to go fairly often as the service had only ever been okay at best but the food was always good. Tonight we received a two ounce portion of rice to go with the meals we ordered and were told they would charge an additional six dollars for more rice. Truly insane to me that they are that money hungry. Will likely not be back for a while. Do better.

"Beautiful decor, location is prime especially if headed to a show. Wait staff unattentive and rude. Food was 2 thumbs down! $30 a plate for subpar food. Thai, chinese, Vietnamese dishes. Even the drinks were disgusting. We had the old fashioned, lychee something. For food we had sticky glaze wings (no taste and no sticky), Vietnamese street noodle, drunken noodles and spring rolls. The spring rolls were the best part of the meal (but not enough sauce was provided). We would have asked our server for more but she was MIA. Majority of the food and all the drinks were poorly executed. First and last time visitor."

Food was very mediocre for the price. We ordered $40 and $30 meals and it tasted like street Chinese food. Drinks were good though. Service was solid.

We had it for take out when we stayed in the hotel. Reviews are accurate for this restaurant despite always being busy. We got the house fried rice, pad thai, and sesame chicken. Everything was bland and no flavor standing out. This is just a very expensive local asian restaurant. The prices seem like they are shareable but just average sizes.
