Only good for take out, call ahead, look in bag make sure you get what you paid for,and be very careful with THAT !!
Mac & Cheese was so disrespectful like no cheese at all it was so bad I came home & added my own cheese greens had a taste like someone sprayed lysol on it ribs were decent but way too salty...maybe it's this particular location maybe I should try u street but this location has done me dirty for the 2econd time..Clearly the Name Is Bigger Than The Soul✌🏿
Very busy place on Indian Head Hwy. Excellent selection of high quality food. The sweet potato pie is a must with any meal.
Really good food try it out
I had fried chops they were not seasoned enough for me. The rice and gravy was average very little gravy. The collards had to many stems but were average. The sweet potato pie was amazing!
This place is childish. They let anything come out the kitchen. Cold fries, freezer burnt, 1/2 size fish for the price of a whole fish. They are selfish with the food yet I paid full price.
Excellent food

Card ONLY | Takeout | Fish Whiting, Mac&cheese, collards, and hush puppies ($16)
I’ve only been here once like a day or two ago between the 14th & 15th and I just visited again tonight on the 16th.
– Fish was cool. I actually think it lacked salt and I liked it so I definitely came back for that and to try something new
– mac&cheese was average, soft noodles, cheese not really sticking
– collard greens need work, definitely getting another side. The collard greens I make at home hit & they not messing with me at all. I thought I had mustard greens or something cause it was bitter-like, pushing mushy. I don’t know how fresh the fresh greens were.
I came back on the 16th around 8:30p and it was closed. The sign on the door still says 9pm, google.com has 8pm, and google maps (which I used) said 9pm as well. I’m waiting for the light to leave the premise and it was a lil talking about them closing at 8pm everyday but your door not updated everyday & time you come to work. I literally read the door for a hot-second because they got the days/time split up and I definitely can read so I’m not understanding what that was about.
I’ll take my sweet, precious time coming back here. Too much talking over a sign on the front door that’s wrong. I didn’t mind you closing at 8pm (if I’d known), I wouldn’t have mind if y’all closed early, but we looking at the same thing or what? Like I said, this my 2nd visit and first time coming at night.

I’m so disappointed in this restaurant, this place failed off. I ordered meat loaf that tasted like dog food, greens taste like can of glory greens, bake macaroni and cheese was dry as well, corn bread tasted dry and old. My husband ordered ribs, he said the ribs taste like it been sitting in a bucket of vinegar and tuff. His chicken was not cook all the way so he put it back in the oven, he also said the sweet potatoe pie was delicious. They gave him one big block of yams that also came from out the glory can? the food we had wasn’t seasoned and it was nasty. Waste my money never again. How can you disrespect our culture/ soul food like that. Stop selling us that glory greens out the can every they cook is precooked.

I so wanted to enjoy the food here, as everyone always raves about their food. The food may have been good when the original owner was cooking, but the food was terrible. The cashier was a young lady and she seemed very uninterested to be there. My husband and I both had the pulled pork. It was so dry. We always want to support black owned businesses, but we won't be returning.

The mac and cheese was good. Disappointed with the collard greens and yams both lacked favor. They were bland.
