The chef wouldn't allow me to get fries instead of Yukon potatos according to the waitress he had “paired the salmon that way”. Not good enough for that pretentiousness. Also didn't get my wine until I was halfway through the meal. Wait staff wasn't attentive.

Good BBQ, the water front view is pretty nice Located in national harbor. The staff was not very friendly and it was slow. Considering the prices I would have expected better service.

We went there seeing the ratings and reviews. The view was amazing, and the servers were polite and helping. But the food wasn't good, especially when you factor in the high price. I ordered the simple grill fish (salmon), the fish was cold, and it didn't taste fresh. The rice wasn't cooked properly, and the veggies were old. They also added 20% service charge without asking and then suggested adding a tip.

Our dinner at Redstone was lovely. The food was excellent... I neglected to take photos of the full meal. We had the Jerk Chicken Fondue, Corn and Crab Crowder, Ribeye Steak, and Banana Bread Pudding. Everything was delicious. They were busy so it took a little longer than usual for the waiter to attend to us but otherwise the service was good too.

We were sat at a wonderful table by the window looking out over Harbor. Half way through meal shades along whole wall of windows were closed blocking our view and making restaurant dark. Waiter was friendly and knowledgable. Food was excellent.

The shrimp scampi was so good, especially the huge fried shrimp! Niecy, our server, was knowledgeable, funny and very honest about the menu!! I devoured the cornbread, but it was good too!

Over all it is not bad, but for the price its the worstThe portions are very small and food doesn’t have taste, people serving were very nice but I wouldn’t tip a penny for the food being bad

With family in town to celebrate my grand aunts 96yrs of life. My cousin and I were watching the game and in rolls other members of my family. Warren was at the front and directed them to the fire pit and outside bar but after assessing the patio he made a decision to seat my parents and aunts without anything being said to him. Warren, Thank you!! Redstone management that is my definition of excellent customer service and you have a great guy in Warren

Red Stone is one my FAVORITE restaurants. I was there a week ago before my horrible experience yesterday, and everything was great! I had a 3:15 reservation and my daughter wanted to sit outside so we had to wait a bit for that which was understandable. I received a text at 3:39 stating my table was ready and I arrived at 3:42. We were sat outside with a nice view, the waiter came by with glasses of water and then I requested club soda with a side of lime. He brought the water and stated that he would be back with the limes. He came back and dropped them off a the table and I literally never saw him again. My daughter kept asking why hasn't anyone come back to take our order and that was about 15 min later. I then flagged someone down and asked if he knew who our waiter was and that we've been waiting for 15 and no one has come to take our order. He stated that he was going to find out and to give him a minute or two. He never came back and still NO WAITER. I then called the restaurant to alert them of what's happening just for someone to say well send someone out there and they STILL DONT. At this point it was a total of 30 min. I called back after 5 min of no one coming and spoke with the manager, Bethany, who was VERY apologetic and accommodating. My meal was taken care of, but I was still very upset of the service I DID NOT get. I LOVE Redstone and always had a pleasant experience aside from April 20th.

We had a really great server that gave us great recommendations. I can't remember his name, but he was an older gentleman that told us he'd been there since the restaurant opened. I had the short rib which I expected to be more tender than it was. I had to use my knife to pull it apart which was a surprise to me given that I work at a restaurant that sells a short rib as well and ours is very tender. The short rib was also swimming in jus which made it taste a bit saltier than maybe the average person would want or can handle. And the jus really thinned out the mashed potatoes which just made everything more soupy. They should definitely bring back the baby broccoli to accompany this dish. And like the one I serve at my restaurant, some fried onion strings on top would've been fantastic. My friend ordered the simple grilled salmon, Cajun spiced. She liked it, but noted that it would've been better with a glaze of some sort. She also mentioned that the green beans tasted like they were frozen and had no flavor at all. Our drinks were good. The warm chocolate chip cookie dessert was fantastic! We were celebrating her birthday, which I noted on our reservation, so I expected to have the dessert taken care of...it wasn't. No big deal. There are a few more things on their menu that I'd like to try. Next time I'm back in National Harbor I may give it another shot with something new on their menu.

Came in for lunch about 1pm with a party of 6 on Thursday. It was not busy. There were plenty of open tables. We were seated right away. That was the end of our good experience. Food quality was decent, small portions. Drinks were good, very small. Service was horrendous. Had to ask multiple times for drinks, then again when food came. We were halfway finished with food before drinks ever came out. Had to wait for an eternity for our checks. Server finally came around and forgot about the checks. Had to get up and ask for them. For the 3rd time. Then, you guessed it. They were not accurate.. We were not in a huge hurry, but it was 3.30 by the time we were able to pay and leave. Will not be going back.

Redstone was a great experience. I was there for the brunch and the food was outstanding. We sat in seats by the window, so it was a nice view of the Potomac River.Parking: You have to park in the garage and walk down to the lower part of the harbor to reach the restaurant. Street parking is available also.
