I loved the food at this wild restaurant in Oxon Hill, I bought 2 whole chickens today and I was truly delighted, the chicken was very tasty, the quality of the chicken was good, the accompaniments were very fresh and very delicious, I really liked the attention they provided I had the 2 boys, I will recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.

Food is incredibly high prices considering quality.. Portions are large. Charging extra for all the toppings that should be on there seems criminal. Also dessert cakes taste horrible. Had strawberry lemon. It was horrendous. Spent almost 60 dollars for two ppl. Unreasonable if u ask me.

Very disappointed I ordered a chicken and shrimp fajita the chicken was covered in this orange sauce salty is hell the black beans cold and the rice was soaking in grease very disappointed wasted my money 05/10/23

EEKS, not sure what this Silvestre Chicken is all about, but I regret giving this location a try!Their menu is pretty extensive, offering various appetizers, salads, rotisserie chicken, quesadillas, enchiladas, tacos, burritos, subs, and various sides.I am usually a fan of their steak fajitas, but for some reason, whether it was a user error or what, I ended up ordering one of the Silvestre's Platters, the Silvestre Steak (aka, carne asada) - this was a grilled New York steak with a choice of two sides - rice & salad or rice & black beans; I opted for the latter.The steak, while large in size, was mostly fat; the parts that were edible were well-done, which I didn't mind, but you know how NY Strips are - the more you cook them, the more tough it gets! I wasn't a fan of the seasoning that they added to the steak, as it made it have an off type of flavor.The side of rice had a strange taste to them, and I remember that I originally was a fan of it; the black beans were in this thick sauce that was super gloopy; it kind of reminded me of beans out of a can, where it has that thick dark liquid where you usually rinse the beans from.1 of each regular aji and spicy aji sauce comes with, but I swapped mine out for the spicy aji; I noticed that this place isn't too stingy with giving you some extra sauces, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the sauces didn't help the meal.The plastic fork and knife didn't cut it, literally - super hard to cut the steak, so unless you have actual silverware with you, you're out of luck.Just wasn't a fan of the food that I ordered, and I'm still feeling in some kind of way for spending almost $17 for this; most of it was tossed, and I wished I had gone somewhere else. However, there aren't much options in the area to begin with!Service was friendly and efficient.There are no seating inside, and this place is strictly a carry-out.Plenty of parking in the shared plaza lot.+avoid the food+friendly service+no seating inside+plenty of parking in shared lot

Last time i buy from here, besides getting my order wrong. (Its right on the receipt) portions have gotten smaller but the bug i found on my food is the nail on the coffin for me. Avoiding from now on, do not recommend. Hopefully they see this and try to clean up.

This is my second time ordering and eating from the Oxon Hill (Eastover) location and they didn’t let me down. The staff there provided excellent customer service even when hassled by rude customers. I will continue to try other chains of the restaurant but this is by far the best one I have come across.
