Visited The Brass Tap and was extremely disappointed. The food was just okay, but the service was horrible. We waited over an hour just to place our order and had to ask multiple times for water and menus. Staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized—there was clearly no management presence. Definitely not worth the wait or frustration. Won’t be back.
I can't believe they kicked us out right before the end of the NBA finals.
Came here for the NBA finals, I ordered a salad my girlfriend ordered chips and dip. Wait at 45 minutes and never got the food. Service was abysmal. The bartender should have told us that the kitchen was backed up before we ordered our food. One of my worst bar experiences ever.
Got a chance to watch NBA finals with no problem plenty of TV screens to watch. First time visiting burger and onion rings were amazing
The burger was like if depression decided to become a handheld food. Fries looked pale but were crispy and plentiful. At least I got listen to early aughts rock while I ate.
Review for The Brass Tap Our experience at The Brass Tap was a mix of positives and disappointments. The good: • Our server was friendly and worked very hard, especially given how short-staffed they were. • The food arrived quickly, hot, and fresh. • The beer selection was solid, and the food itself was decent bar fare. The challenges: • The apps came out at the same time as our main dishes, which was disappointing. • It seemed like they didn’t have a dishwasher because we had to wait for silverware, and eventually, we were given paper plates and plastic takeout forks. The real issue: When it came time to pay, things took a concerning turn. Our server used a handheld card reader and scrolled so quickly through the bill that I couldn’t really see it. The total seemed unusually high, so I asked for a printed receipt. Thankfully, I did because I discovered she had added gratuity to the check without mentioning it. While I was trying to look over the electronic bill, she kept scrolling back up, which felt odd at the time. But I knew she was busy and just assumed she was trying to be quick. Later that night, when reviewing the receipt again since we left quickly as we were late for another event, an item they didn’t have was never removed from the bill. I called the next day to address it, and the manager I spoke with was dismissive and rude. She told me the night manager would handle it but didn’t apologize or offer any resolution. I did receive a refund but only for the food. I still paid 20% tip on food that I didn’t receive. As a server myself, I know how hard this job can be, but I’ve also worked with people who pull shady moves like this. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I used to live in the area and forgot how some restaurants operate here. It’s unfortunate because the experience could have been so much better with honesty and proper management. I also would have left more but after that I kept thinking how many people they have pulled that on. I had no plans to write a review but after talking to the manager I felt a need to warn guests.
We came in and got a couple drinks, the brisket tacos and chicken wings.
Wings and tacos were really good!
Drinks were not bad.
Server was hustling, very attentive considering the amount he was waiting on.
Got pretty busy and a bit crowded.
Seating is a little to clustered I feel.
Really sucks you have to pay for parking here in the area and then go spend the $$ you do...

Went there tonight to grab a drink and bite to eat. Not busy whatsoever!! Plenty of servers literally standing around on their phones. The Bartender said she would get a server for us…waited another 15 minutes and still no server!! It’s clear the staff is extremely lazy and doesn’t like good tippers!! Such a shame because it’s a nice place! It’s also apparent the Manager doesn’t care either!!
Food well season. Briana smiles genuinely made us feel welcome. Atmosphere quiet with the availability to watch sports on multiple screens. (Winter 2024) Next time in area will definitely stop in and enjoy Boom boom shrimp and lemon pepper wings.(season veries) Way to go Brass Tap team. Thanks again Briana.

Staff were incredibly nice but it took forever to get our drinks. Decided not to stick around for food but it was a weekend and they were busy. Leaving a good review because our waitress was so wonderful and working hard.

Delicious food, less than a block, easy walk, from Gaylord. We had burgers, cheese curds, fried pickles and beer flights. Very casual, low-key environment. Food was delicious. Fun to try local craft beers.
