Food is good if heavily influenced by the BBQ kitchen next door. The fish has the same peppery breading as their chicken tenders. The waffle fries have seasoning.

Stopped by for a beer and nothing else. We love Irish pubs and this one met our expectations. Will return for sure.

Walked in and the place smelled like seafood. But Mark the bar tender was good and very nice. My drink was good but my friend said hers was "ok".

Quick service. Ok food. 50s music blasting for 3 friends of the bartender... could barely have a conversation. Not the ambiance I was going for at an Irish bar, with the deer head over the fire place! Off to some place else...

Sheppards pie is amazing, Patrick Burger is phenomenal seriously one of the best burgers I’ve had. The Reuben rolls were great too.Our waitress was great she was attentive with the drinks and kept them coming. Overall a heck of a good Irish pub. The atmosphere and music is really good too

Good burger and waffle fries. Tends to get crowded though. But it’s ok.

Really cool spot in an otherwise way overpriced area.

I love single-malt whiskeys and those I tried were either gone bad or simply weren't single-malt at all. So bad service or scammed. The environment feels dirty and cheap. Moreover, the menu says one thing, when you order it is actually more expensive, and in my case, disgusting. I never thought I'd ever say that about a single-malt whiskey.

Absolutely terrible customer service, the bartender stood behind the bar on her phone couldn't be bothered to greet or assist anyone. We were in there on a a Friday afternoon, we had already gone to the bar for our drinks and placed a food order but we watched a minimum of 30 people come in sit down and leave because nothing was ever said to anyone. We finally left after one drink.

Irish pub. Reuben egg rolls go great with a Smithwicks staff was excellent, engaging, and fun. 90s music was going pretty hard that night so not a pub vibe but it was enjoyable.

Cozy dim irish bar. There was only one server on while we watching the game. She crushed it.

Great Irish Bar in the heart of National Harbor. The service was great. The food was perfect. I enjoyed the fish & chips and the time spent hanging out at the Irish Whisper!

The location is nice enough... we sat ourselves as asked but we also had to serve ourselves. We sat at a table but was told we had to order and get everything ourselves at the bar. We had the Reuben Rolls to start which were fine. We ordered the shepherd pie and it was the worst we've ever had. The only way it would have been edible is if we were drunk enough to not notice.
