Excellent raw bar and seafood restaurant. Walrus seafood tower was amazing with a great sampling of the raw bar. Pork belly and lobster salad was really good and so was the pasta although it was quite spicy. Great dining experience and time.

It was so busy tonight (and no reservations)! 45 min wait for two - but we got a spot at the bar right away and ate there. The old fashioned was so fun - it had cotton candy! The chicken Cesar salad was yummy and the lobster tail delicious! Also, you can see the national harbor Christmas tree from the bar! Cute spot for pics! I’d go back!

Waitress was wonderful service was fine especially since it was a spontaneous visit for my birthday dinner with no reservation. However, having gone to the Columbia Town Center (MD) location for years (the owner closed this location after a leasing stalemate) but I was already familiar with their food and immediately decided on this location upon seeing it at National Harbor. Clam Chowder was pretty good. However, everything after that was just sooooo salty. My clams which I asked to have steamed instead of raw which they did, came in a broth that was beyond salty it made my eyes blink excessively and after the 3rd one, I was finished. Then my crab cake came and presentation wise it looked like a frozen boxed crab cake. A lot of filler or minced crab and how does one make a crab cake salty and it not come from the Old Bay? Minced looking and salty. I couldn't finish next. In contrast, hubby's burger had no flavor, and that trend went on... too salty or no taste. Like I said our waitress was sweet and I mentioned to her just as feedback and she kept asking if I wanted it to go back and I didn't (because I didn't think anything was going to be good) I nibbled a bit more then just stopped. The complimentary piece of birthday cake was good.

Wish there was More than 5 stars. The Walrus was outstanding. Went there 3 months ago during a business trip. I love Maryland and love seafood. It has to be one of the top places I've been to.

We stopped in for drinks and desserts. Our server, Edwin Leonel was very helpful and took good care of us. We all enjoyed our drinks and we shared a strawberry shortcake, bananas foster and the bread pudding. All delicious!! Nice experience!!

Stopped by here for a quick bite. Tried the chicken sandwich which was delicious. The fries were perfectly cooked and crispy. The server spilled out water and beers multiple times while serving them which was a little frustrating but overall a pretty good spot worth trying.

The food at Walrus Oysters & Ale House was absolutely delicious — clearly prepared by talented, possibly even celebrity-level chefs. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, and we truly enjoyed the culinary experience.
However, the service was disappointing. After being seated, it took nearly 30 minutes before anyone came to take our order. I eventually had to walk over to the server station myself, only to find several staff members chatting instead of attending to guests. Once our food arrived, the servers disappeared again, and no one came by to check on us or offer refills.
We genuinely enjoyed the food, but the slow and inattentive service took away from what could have been an outstanding dining experience.

Excellent food and service. I was impressed how great the service was when it was so packed. The lobster roll is phenomenal. They do not skimp on the lobster! Highly recommend for a seafood experience

Went with colleagues for a work gathering. Sat at the bar and was repeatedly offended by the bartender. It was uncomfortable to the point I was hesitant to order food and drinks. Even brought it to management’s attention without causing a scene. Will not return

The atmosphere is great. You can see what is going on at the bar area and how fresh things are, which typically begins with smell - everything seemed to be very clean and fresh even though I was partaking in a cocktail and not food. Most of the staff are very attentive, however there were a few that were a little more subtle about their interactions with low volume of voice and eye contact, which I can personally appreciate. The bathrooms were clean even with being lowly lit. I enjoyed the theme of this establishment and would definitely return to try the food. This is not typically a place I would recommend for a very loud party as it seems more relaxed but I would not stray to another place based on that alone.
