This was a pleasant outing. I had not been in years, but definitely enjoyed getting back into it. The weather was nice and the servers were really nice also. I will come back at some point. Until next time!

Make a reservation in the parking lot because it looked busy. The soonest available time was over an hour away on the website. Walked in and they said a bay would be ready in 10-15 minutes but I couldn’t get my deposit back.

First time at Topgolf and it was a good time. A lot of games to choose from, fun atmosphere, and attentive staff. Food was good, beer was cold! What more could I ask for

We ordered the coffee - probably the worst coffee we have ever tasted. One stain on the ice water cup that it was hard to tell what it is.

We have been here so many times, small issues, but nothing to ever really say anything about..until today.
Got a bay at the end of the second level - we got through a partial game, then we finally got a server. Asked for a beer, coke, and sweet tea. Pretzel bites & nachos.
The tea and coke came - tea was terrible, so we asked for another soft drink. The girl rolled her eyes - lol? Like what? Okay, so whatever….moving on…
Food came from someone else, which it’s cool, whatever. Finished the beer and coke, we asked for another. Time went on, and I decide to go to the bar to ask for a beer and put it on that bay. Then I mention the bees and wasp over at the end where our bay were definitely getting a bit out of hand - the girl said “oh wow”, and literally turns around - LOL okay girl. I end up going back, and still no sign of the coke or beer.
At this point, the game asked us to extend…we decided to extend. Our waitress comes back and goes to the other bays near us who clearly had bigger parties….i look at her and she walks away again. Still no coke - at this point been there over an hour. (maybe 10 min after getting my drink at the bar), So I look at the number that’s listed for too golf, and call it. I ask if I can speak to a manager on duty. The guy says, “I mean I can try to find someone, but what’s the problem, maybe I can help”. I tell him our bay number and explain I’m paying to play, I’d really like the coke and beer we ordered. He says something along the lines of “trying to get someone over there” - lol?.
So, we ended up getting our stuff and on the way out, I spoke with someone at the front.
The little boy working, thought it was funny I was complaining, because I told him I needed a refund for the bay and explained why - I didn’t mind paying for the food and beer. So he spoke to whomever was in the office behind the front counter, and the “highest person here right now” (per his words) was “Jalen”.
Bless “Jalen’s” heart - he was clearly very upset that I called “corporate “ (again, I called the number listed under their address in Oxon hill), rather then “chase someone down in a red shirt to fix the issue at hand, first” - per his words.
Lol, well I was able to chase him down to let him know I needed a refund on the wasted time at the bay. I didn’t mind paying for the food and drinks, I just wasn’t paying for the bay considering so much wasted time chasing the bees and wasps that’s at the end bays. He ended up clearing out the table and handing me a receipt (which had someone else’s name on it ), which cool, thanks - but again, I truly didn’t mind paying for that, but you more so, teach your staff better customer service and take care of all those bees and wasps at the end bay(s). I’m truly shocked we’re almost at the end of summer and this hasn’t been brought up (assuming if it ever has, it would have been taken care of? maybe?)

⛳ What We Did: Lunch and a few rounds of golf
💬 My Experience:
My son and I stopped by Topgolf for lunch and to hit a few balls, and as always, it was a great time. This place is such a fun and unique experience, where else can you eat, drink, and play golf all at once?
The food is your typical pub fare, nothing gourmet, but definitely enjoyable and satisfying. We had a great time relaxing, snacking, and playing in one spot. The server was attentive, coming around to take both drink and food orders without interrupting the flow of the game.
🏆 Highlight: The perfect mix of casual entertainment and food, a great way to spend an afternoon.
📍 Would I Return? Absolutely, if we had a Topgolf closer to home, we’d be there a lot more often!

WARNING:
Me and my friends had arrived exactly at 3 and was put on a waitlist. We were told that we would get a text message that would indicate that our area was ready and cleaned up and ready to go. (We also called ahead of time and that was the instructions told for us to do in terms of walk-ins)
40 minutes later, it was ready. We went to our designated area and saw that there were people still there - and was left a bit confused. We didn’t want to rush the people still there so we just stood for a bit. The waitress came up to us and said that we can go back upstairs to get a different bay, since this one wasn’t exactly ready yet.
As we went upstairs, excited to celebrate a friends birthday, we were met with condescending comments from the staff while we were asking for another bay. According to them, since we were booked for such a short amount of time, it would be impossible to get another one (despite us waiting almost an hour for a bay that was promised us 15-30 minutes).
Mind you, my friends and I look young and so sometimes that affects the customer service we get out in public. Despite that, there is -no- excuse to talk down on customers & not resolve the issue in a more friendly manner. We’re not teenagers and we definitely will not be going back to this location due to the bad treatment and lack of communication.
We went to celebrate a birthday and had a great time. Until it came time to check out. When we first arrived we knew there would be at least 10 of us so we decided buckets of beer would likely be our best way to have a few drinks without spending too much. We asked the waitress how much buckets were and she stated it depended on the bucket but between 25-35$ and it came with 6 drinks. We decided this was our best route and choose high noons. When we got the bill for 3 buckets it was 177$. This again was much higher then our expected since she quoted 25-35$ a bucket. When questioned she also was confused and went to her manager and spoke with them for more than 15 minutes. We waited patiently assuming this would all be cleared up. When she came back she stated that she was wrong and each high noons still costed ~9$ each. Instead of working with us we were just told we had to pay the entire bill. As a whole many of us work in the service industry and in these situations we feel there should be at least some effort on the companies part to help correct the mistake which there was not. The waitress was incredibly apologetic about her mistake but it still left us all feeling a bit upset about our experience. It is unlikely we will return to top golf, especially this location.

My party had a positive experience overall. Staff support to set up gameplay would have been appreciated. 1 server was available 35 minutes after we started play on 3 bays. We worked it out, but would have preferred more attention. Our youth enjoyed themselves, so all was well.

⭐ 1/5 - Terrible experience at Topgolf National Harbor. The service was awful. We arrived at 11 PM, knowing they close at 1 AM, and reserved a bay for our group. I mentioned more friends were coming (party of 5), and they said they’d accommodate when they arrived. But when my friends got there, they refused to give us another bay and forced all 10 of us to cram into one, despite our protests. The staff was incredibly rude, didn’t listen to a word we said, and showed no effort to help. We’ve been to the Loudoun County location, and it was nothing like this. Very disappointing—won’t be back.
