Waited an hour for my food. No one approached me to ask me if I needed anything. I got the salmon. Rice was hard. Salmon was good. They need management or supervision. To keep things in order.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience. My order arrived late, and to add insult to injury, I was charged $30.00 for a product that was far (very far) from satisfactory. This experience has reminded me why I usually stick to chain restaurants that maintain certain standards.

I have to say the service from ordering the catering to the delivery service exceeded my expectations. Our company hosted a holiday party and the residents and staff absolutely enjoyed the food. I have to thank southern blues and Jimmie personally for such great service, presentation and quality food. I 100% recommend their catering service.

My dining experiences here are inconsistent. Sometimes the sides are too salty. Sometimes you get 2 fried chicken breasts with the dinner and some days one (same price). Iced tea was super sweet...had to dilute it.

Parking: The parking lot is a little tight if you have an SUV.

I found this place online & wanted to try it out. I was not disappointed. I ordered smothered pork chops. It came over rice with a tasty gravy. The chops were well seasoned, still crispy when I ate them. My sides candied yams (yum) not too sweet but sweet and delicious. The mac & cheese was so good. Great portion i thought as well. The young lady & gentleman who took my order was professional & helpful. I believe he cooked the food too. I will go again. I ate half the food before I wrote this.

I got the beef ribs collards and fries and the only thing I ate was the fries because I was hungry. The food was terrible and the customer service sucked! I should have just walked out when we weren’t greeted.🤦🏽‍♀️ It was like we inconvenienced her to take our order. I will never go nor recommend going here🤮 I took a couple bites but hate wasting food so ima give it to the birds instead of trashing it 🤷🏽‍♀️🤢

Food was just alright, later noticed there was a staple (yes, a metal staple) in my mac n cheese. Would avoid for that reason alone

If you're looking for a nice, southern cooked home meal, but don't really feel like frying the fish and cutting up the greens, this is a very good alternative. Great food.

Hey! So l called in placed a order for two Surf and turf dinners. I went off your website Menu for the Pricing of 9.99 for the dinner with two sides. I picked up the food and My receipt says I was charged 17.99 each dinner. Not good Advertisement on you guys menu smh.

Decided to grab something good to eat from this restaurant on my day off and I was totally disappointed when I received my food and got home my surf and turf with collard greens was a complete no because I had at least an inch of juice from the collard greens covering my fried fish smh ??‍♀️ if I was made aware that my fried fish would have had collard juice all over it I would have asked for it to be separate .. I called spoke to management and they stated to mention it to be separated and it’s .85 cents extra whattttt I just completely upset the order was $19.00 and I had just two wings and two small pieces of whiting for that price I could have went someone else
A lesson learned I guess…
I don’t want to ever eat there again and if I was doing a video about service and presentation for social media they would have failed….. Black owned and it shows

Customer service is awful! The young lady that cashes, with red hair, is rude, unmannerly and very unapproachable. As a paying customer I don't appreciate being approached with unecessary attitude and rudeness, especially when visiting for the first time after having the place recommended to me. Big turn off!

1st time there today 8/23/24. The catfish, potato salad & greens were tasty - a solid B. The tea was a good brewed tea; wish it had been more southernly sweet. The cornbread was a C; needed a drier, sweeter inside for my tastebuds.The attentive, polite staff STAYED FOCUSED on getting people processed promptly & out the door. Overall clean & pleasant atmosphere.The man with the two braids is charming; he makes you feel welcomed in like a good leader should. Definitely going back to try more dishes.
