Hip hop fish & chicken

Ordered combo perch and chicken tenders . Tenders were ok , but fish was not fresh, they over fried them to hide bad smell and taste of fish . Very unsatisfied. Never coming back .

Ordered a two piece chicken thigh combo, with an extra thigh and it was mostly batter and skin. Gave pork rinds vibe. Then the chicken inside was dry.

Just had the best experience. My food was hot and fresh! I had to make a phone call and the young gentleman behind the counter brought my food out to me. Not the first time I enjoyed their service! Will always come back!

The person taking order at this place makes me loose my appetite for hiphop chicken every time i set my food in the store. He is only rushing to take your order with zero smile on his face, get more frustrated when you request more condiments and pretend to have given all your order until you checked the bag and noticed that he lied. This is not the first time. The food is good, the chicken are too small specially the wings. Iam not encouraging any looking for good customer service to visit this place.

I really want to try that delicious food from their website pictures. Unfortunately, it looks nothing like that in real life. Some food was raw and some dry rock. The guy took pieces of fish out of freezer, breaded it and threw it in fryer with an oil they probably used all day. Fish came out raw inside and, I had to refinish cooking it at home in air fryer. Same with gizzards, it was strictly out of fear of getting salmonella or other food poisoning. Never ordering from them again!!!!

It is a very clean carry put that has seating for those ordering take out and those who want to dine in. The owners are pleasant, personable, prompt, and remember you from previous visits. So far, I have only had the fried trout, my parents had the fried catfish, and we have had the collard greens ( that have a little spice) and green beans for dinner. We loved it. The corn muffins are sweet and moist. This is great for a quick dinner or a cheat meal. A small coleslaw comes with each meal and plenty of fries. There are enough fries to share.

I see that this hip-hop is supposed to be open by 10am, it's almost 1015 and they are still not open. Very unprofessional, if your not oopen 10am then someone needs to change the time on the time online.

The staff here is awesome! The food is fresh and seasoned perfectly!
