The staff here is the best. So polite and pleasant and the orders are always correct. There is one guy especially who is very good who works at the register, I believe he is Hispanic. He was working today. Awesome food and awesome people.

I am giving 5 stars purely on their hummus. Best hummus I have ever had, extremely flavorful and fluffy.

I’ve been going to Moby’s since they opened the original lot location in Kingstowne, Alexandria, VA—over 15 years ago—back when the owner was still working there.

I travel for work and happened to be in the area, so I decided to stop by. The guy up front made a mistake on my order. I asked for Kubideh and Lamb, but I got two Kubideh instead. I politely explained the mistake, and they offered to remake my order.

Keep in mind, I was dining in but had to leave shortly. After about 20 minutes, I found my corrected order packed in a to-go bag. so clearly they assumed I wasn’t staying. I had to wait another 15 minutes for them to fix it properly.

Then the manager comes to my table and says, “I need to charge you the difference.” He voided my original order, and I went up to pay the difference. I had already tipped them, which basically covered the difference anyway.

The point isn’t the $3 difference. it’s the fact that they made me wait over 30 minutes after messing up my order, then still asked me to pay more.

I won’t be coming back to this location. The staff seemed nice overall, but they clearly need more training. On the positive side, the place was clean.

Love visiting Moby Dick and getting the Joojeh Kabob with half rice and half salad! Plus, the customer service is fantastic - Alex especially is always so sweet, helpful, and truly kind!! Kudos to y'all for delicious food, great atmosphere, and wonderful staff!!

Disappointing for my first time at a Moby Dick. Got excited when I saw Dolmeh on the menu so I ordered that and the Joojeh sandwich. Pickup time was supposed to be 12:04, they handed me my order at 12:12 and there was only 3 other customers in the store. Upon handing me the order the woman said they didn’t have the Dolmeh and would I like to swap for something else. Nope, Dolmeh was the reason I chose this place to begin with! She processed a refund for the Dolmeh which I’ll get back in 2 days. The chicken in the sandwich was good but not good enough to get me to pick this place when there are so many other options

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The chicken kebabs always taste perfect as they’re seasoned and cooked just right EVERY TIME! I always get half rice and half salad with a side of barley lentil soup. They’re consistency and great prices along with the awesome staff. Always make it one of my favorite places to go.

Parking: There is a huge parking lot that is free and plenty of spaces

The restaurant is FREEZING. Asked to increase the temp but the staff is not able to even find the key to open the thermostats case - making the customer comfortable is not the priority

Hopefully others will have a better experience than I did. I was picking up an uber eats order, and the workers were being extremely rude. Lord knows why. When I completed my pick up, one of the workers called me “sir” in a very weird and aggressive tone. I guess that’s supposed to hurt my feelings, maybe it would if it was true. I will say that the restaurant was empty, maybe that’s why. Everyone wants someone to hate 🤷🏾‍♀️ just make sure you guys are careful when you order. People like that tend to mishandle your meals if you catch my drift. Hopefully they get some better workers in soon, I would love to give their food a try!

The food is not in good condition, they overcooked the chicken and the people who are working here is rude and disrespectful.

Bad customer service. I ordered my food at 12:33pm nobody was in the restaurant except one person picking up. I told them can they have my food done by 1:05pm because I had an appointment a couple doors down. I was done and back by 1:15. She told me to hold on they are making my food not telling me anything when I obviously received a notification it was ready. By 1:23pm it still wasn’t done. I had to get a refund because I had to go to work. 0 communication skills and she acted like she was confused.
