The Essen Room is AMAZING!!!! Just AMAZING!!! The service is wonderful and the food is STUNNING!!! And the selection of sweets will make you a favorite patient…….of your dentist!! OY!!
This was the biggest Reuben I have ever had in this area! It was delicious. I only wish I had taken some of the pastries home but after I ate my sandwich I was too full.
Delicious!! I highly recommend the corned beef and pastrami hash.

Mikey & Mel's Deli - Pikesville / The Essen Room serves good food and great cakes. The staff is friendly and provides great service, although they can be short staffed at busy times. The deli offers excellent carry out options, including brisket and Ess-A-Bagels. Menu items like the pastrami sandwich and open faced turkey sandwich with gravy are flavorful. The portions are generous and the service is top notch. The staff is pleasant, attentive, and inviting, making for a great dining experience. This deli is a favorite among many, especially those who enjoy a classic Jewish deli experience similar to NYC.
