Food was bland. Sandwich was ok. Everything was just ok. I won't go back, just cause food was dull, and service was extremely slow . Sour pickles were hard and not sour. Health salad tasted like no dressing on it. Matzoh Ball was a giant ball of Matzoh meal. No onion, no flavor. Soup was like water. Meh.
We go here often for breakfast. I can’t say enough about this restaurant. The food is delicious, the servings are HUGE, the coffee is always fresh, and the Pickle Bar!! Gotta try the pickle bar. The dining area is always spotless, and I’m pretty sure it’s their waiter that makes sure of that. I wish I knew his name, he’s on top of everything, and I’m not sure how he does it all. Best deli around, and I’m nearly an hour away. Thanks Essen!
So my brother invited me out for lunch and he told me to meet him at The Essen Room Restaurant. Needless to say it was my first time eating there and the food/sandwich was delicious and very filling/huge. And the eclair was delicious as well.
Note: The prices are a little on the pricey side but worth it…Enjoy 😋
