Very good breakfast food. For those hiking the America Discovery trail coming off the river into Poolsville will nearly save 2hrs before rejoining the Ohio & Chesapeake canal. Plus you get to have a hot breakfast!

A lovely, friendly and rare all day breakfast place with good coffee and food. Highly recommended! We came for the first time. Love their chicken kabob, chicken sandwiches from lunch menu and chicken & waffle breakfast. Very cozy. A sunny day helps too. Will definitely bring friends here soon.

Set in an early American home in one of the oldest places in Montgomery County, Locals Farmer's Market is a cute little spot for breakfast, coffee, and lunch. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Google's directions take you to their parking lot rather than the store front and given that they are in two different places, that is really helpful. There are only a handful of spots by the storefront. The food is plated brilliantly and the taste does not disappoint. My chimichurri chicken kabob over salad was exquisite. The London Fog (Earl Gray with milk) was also delicious. My partner had the Rise and Shine with a mountain of bacon. Very tasty. Will be going again. There's beautiful art on the walls and they do special events too.

If you want to go to a cafe in Poolesville, this is the place. The coffee is fantastic (and I'm very picky) and the food is good. They really live up to their name and have a ton of locally produced goods for sale. The only reason why I'm not giving this place 5 stars is the hours. Please be open more often so I can give you more of my money!

My favorite breakfast spot. Lovely atmosphere, service, and outstanding food. Owners are lovely people and the outdoor area with music is awesome in the warmer months.

Locals farm market now open Saturday nights too, hurray! Been a few times for assorted local brew on tap in an nicely renovated historic building (and grounds) that continues to impress with each visit. Local baked goods, coffee shop vibe gathering place. Tented spaces, heaters in their outdoor seating, plus cute indoor tabled rooms. Order at the counter, take your number to anyplace you'd like to sit, and beverages and food arrives before you even get a chance to really look around. The owners often feature artists works displayed indoors, plus farm and handmade foods and crafts for sale. Have enjoyed Friday night music jams with beer, burgers and fries, a tasty spinach salad for Saturday brunch, and now the chef's pickle brined fried chicken with tasty spices and fine green onions, plus a pair of amazingly dense sweet Belgium waffles. No need to add yummy maple syrup side. Alternating the savory and the sweet was a treat for the taste buds. Worth the drive if you're not a Local!

This is the cutest little place in town. They have a market and fresh bread, plus a full breakfast/lunch menu. The seating outside is nice and they do takeout as well - I've only ever done takeout. The chicken and waffles are my favorite but they have a delicious chicken Caesar salad as well. The drinks are on the smaller side, but sooo good. I've had their vanilla milkshake and a chai latte so far. The fries are a bit soggy, but everything else has been excellent! They are pricier than some other places in the area, but worth it, since their ingredients are high quality. I definitely recommend.
