When you come across something special the first word out of your mouth is WOW. Great course, friendly staff and boy can I tell you those strapping young men know how to use a grill. The braut at the turn was spectacular and even customizable (unheard of). Even better was the SMELL and AMBIANCE of the bistro once the round was over… its worth the drive folks!

Came here for Happy Hours and there are few bottles of wines that are 50% off. Ordered a bottle of cab and two orders of chicken wings. Honey habanero and original buffalo sauce, both were great. Slightly on the extra crispy side if you like them wings this way. The street corn dip was fantastic. Also had their golfer special for 18 bucks come with a burger, fries and a beer. Our bartender Rebecca was awesome, can’t wait to go back again for Happy Hours. All of the appetizers were 12 bucks including the wings. All in all a great place to chill or grab some drinks after a round of golf!

Terrible food. Steak was burnt and inedible. Same with the fried chicken. Only good part of the food was the appetizer which didn’t have to be cooked

This is a review just about the golf course. Course is a very fair test for mid/high handicap golfers - fairways generous and no hidden creeks/waste areas etc mean plenty of opportunities to score well. Course was in much better shape than many local courses with virtual no “lost” sections of greens or fairways. Tee times 11 minutes apart helps a good pace of play. Friendly staff at check-in, starter and on course maintenance team.
I celebrated my birthday dinner at Crossvines last night and it was amazing! The atmosphere, the service, and the food was beyond my expectations. The service staff went out of their way to put a table together for us so we could sit out on the patio and listen to the great music by Tom Starr and our server, Gem, was an absolute gem!

If I could leave 100 stars, I would! I dropped my phone on the course at night, and Connor from the pro shop went above and beyond to help me find it. His kindness, patience, and professionalism were outstanding. On top of that, the golf course itself is in excellent shape—well maintained and a pleasure to play. I’m so grateful for the help I received and impressed by the overall experience. Highly recommended!

Of all the Montgomery County 9 courses, Poolsville is in the best shape. The rough is roughing, the fairways look great and the greens are rolling. Keep up the great work!!
Amazing atmosphere! Enjoyed a burger and lamb flatbread with beautiful views of the golf course. The food was great and the staff was fabulous! Such a gem! Gorgeous facility and ambience! I love the mission to support the local farms! Will be back for sure!!!

What an amazing place! We were there for a wedding reception and I have to say they did a great job! The food was really very good and the service staff was great as well. We walked around the bar and other areas and it all is very nice. I have to say their wine was quite good as well!

While the food and ambiance were wonderful, the service was phenomenal. The bar tenders, general manager, everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the meal and experience. We absolutely will be back!
Had our varsity softball banquet here and am very impressed. Wonderful space and super friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back for dinner.
We sat in the bar at a table for dinner. I was eager to go since i had not been before and saw it written up somewhere. Lets just say the service was terrible. At first the three of us must have been invisable since NO ONE waited on us or even acknowledged us for first 20 min ( there was only one other table w/4 people in the bar and 2 women with big ole full drinks at the bar counter). We had to ask for someone 2x before we got it. Drinks took 35 min to come out and they all came at separate times. My basic dirty martini seemed to hold up a simple wine because they ran out of ketel one then ran out of grey goose... no more to be had! I watched him consider mixing the remenants of each but called him out before he did. The food came out fairly quickly (we hsd a different server do our food than the guy doing our drinks). Basically the waitress was good and on top of the food. The bartenders (2) didnt know their head from their a** on how to take drink orders ( he literally wrote every word down then walked 10 steps to back of bar and still took 35 min to make our 3 simple menu drinks), make the drinks, serve the drinks, etc. Im so frustrated just writing this thinking back on this from 2 nights ago. No manager around to see what was going on and certainly not to apologize for the rediculousness of it all. Save your money because that poor service from the bar just ruined the whole dinner. The menu is not big, burgers and whatnot but it was tasty (except for the special- soft shell crab sandwich, which was 80% bread, 20% one little crab). Like I said, the bar service was so bad it distracted from appreciating our waitress, our food and lack of anyone there who cared.
Came for a wedding, stayed for the bathrooms. Some of the nicest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. Smelled like soap and fresh linen, lots of beautiful marble, and just a great place to relieve yourself.
This review is limited to the golf course formerly known as Poolesville. It has been renamed Crossvines. The course overall is average difficulty with the caveat that the greens are extremely fast and can be a challenge. Minimal elevation with a few water holes. Course is very good to excellent condition. Senior rate is only $41 including cart. The staff was first rate.
