Came for a wedding, stayed for the bathrooms. Some of the nicest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. Smelled like soap and fresh linen, lots of beautiful marble, and just a great place to relieve yourself.

This review is limited to the golf course formerly known as Poolesville. It has been renamed Crossvines. The course overall is average difficulty with the caveat that the greens are extremely fast and can be a challenge. Minimal elevation with a few water holes. Course is very good to excellent condition. Senior rate is only $41 including cart. The staff was first rate.

We waited 1 hour for this. It was good crab. One server for an entire section.....,........

Played Crossvines golf course today. The course is in absolutely great shape. Everything is nicely mowed and just looks great. Hats off to the staff for maintaining the course in great shape.

Beautiful space and setting for special events or a great meal. I was here primarily to play golf at Poolesville, which I haven't played for 20 years. Great to see these upcounty destinations and Crossvines is the classiests I've seen. With regards to the golf course, not much has changed in 20 years except the greens fees, which are about 3x higher, but hey, it's been a while. The layout is old school, not modernized or upgraded since it was built many eons ago. It's fairly flat, not too many areas to lose a ball or unplayable. Its all pretty much obvious as to the driving lines. The wildflower natural areas are probably the only noticeable addition to the course. Good to get back here, but the rates seem pretty high for a course that hasn't changed in 40+ years, especially with so many modern courses along the 270 corridor.

I’m a wedding coordinator with DMV Weddings and Events, and we just did our first wedding at Crossvines yesterday. WOW!! What an EXCELLENT venue! Rhonda and her team excel at customer service and hospitality! We hope to work a lot more weddings here in the future!!

Name a better place in the area with a quality golf course and delicious food at a restaurant on site open late. Great old fashioned. Not sure why so many bad reviews this place was great, will be returning.

I have not been to the Poolsville golf course in about 2 years and I cannot believe how much has changed. The cart path is completely paved through out the course and tee boxes/fairways/greens were in excellent condition! It's a great course and I'll be back

We LOVE Crossvines for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! All have been amazalicious!

98% golf course, 1.5% restaurant, .5% winery. Don't come here if you're expecting a tasting. We got rude attitude from staff just asking about tastings. We won't be back.

Horrible service. Served people that came in well after us and kept smiling saying sorry.
