The store looked generally clean. The food was cooked immediately upon ordering and both the taste and packaging were good. However, the service was disappointing. Despite it being lunchtime, they had run out of the main ingredient, beef, but there was no indication of this, and when I finally placed my order, they informed me bluntly. It felt as though they were reluctantly taking orders, not really wanting to do business. Had I not been eager to try the food from this store for the first time, I probably would have given up on ordering.

Food is great, they are able to make the sandwiches without it being soggy or dry. I got the Earl’s club and the chipotle chicken. Great flavor and soft bread. I would rate this 6 stars if it was possible.

It was ok. I asked for items to be on my sandwich and they were missing. It wasn't a cost factor. The crowd consisted of 3 people.

They didn't have any roast beef and they only had honey mustard. At a sandwich shop. When I got my turkey bacon club it had ONE piece of turkey on it and like 8 bacon bits. It would have been a really tasty sandwich if it actually had enough ingredients on it. The bread was really soft and yummy but it was over $10 for a nothing sandwich. 0/10 will never recommend.

Felt ignored at the front register, and the cheese on my sandwich wasn't even completely melted. Overall, the sandwich was alright, but not worth nearly $12 with no sides or drink.

Had a veggie sandwich -- ingredients were well layered and balanced. Good sandwich!

Very slow service. More than 15 mins and still didn't get a snadwhich. The cashier was also rubbing his face and straching his with his gloves.

Stopped here on my 10 hour break, it was a good alternative to the fast food next door, hand made and sliced sandwiches took time but it was better than subway. This is how it used to be before everyone move at 100mph. Quality over Quantity ?

We stopped at chesapeake house rest stop just for Peet’s coffee. We ordered coffee and waited and waited and waited some more! Five people that ordered after us got there drinks way before we did. When I asked about my drink the girl said yours is coming. In the mean time my daughter says “look at my hands!” They where covered in green apparently they used a dry erase marker on her cup that covered her in green. I asked the girl what kind of marker was used on the cup and she looked at me said “I DONT know it’s not permanent I know that!” I said “yea that’s the problem it’s all over her!” She said “we’ll go wash your hands it’s not permanent” I said “that’s not the point but I can see you don’t care!” She said “Ma’am take your f*%##%g coffee and go have a nice day” she continued to yell at me I can see why your husband divorced you. For the record my husband stopped the car just so I could have Peets coffee never again will I support Peets coffee.

I picked up regular cup of Peet's coffee. I know coffee and I certainly received a double espresso. I looked at the menu and didn't see espresso. I politely mentioned to the woman who served me that I think they either served me an espresso or there was something wrong with the machine. She ripped me a new one and I surmised she'd had enough of these complaints. I replied that I'd just put eleven creamers in my coffee and it was still undrinkable. "That's what we serve!" she growled. The milk and sugar area was a dirty mess with milk and cream spilled everywhere, no surprise. I added two more creamers and went off on my way.

Yeah the Chesapeake bouse location is never open. It is 11 am and nobody there. I hope it goes out of business.

Horrible waiting times, due to demotivated staff. Tuna sandwich was not available and only one tomato soup left. At least the available sandwich was good.

All eateries closed by 8:40pm when we got in! Wish they had closing times posted on the highway too!

This location is closed even though Google says it's open. This is terrible because they made the best tuna sandwiches ever. ?
